It's not just the name.
It's the unique style and the engineering as they are forged and extremely lightweight.

mugen rims do fetch higher prices for what they are.
But any "copy" rim...is simply a copy aesthetically. It is a cast of the real thing and no design or loading issues have been taken into consideration to these.
Fine for normal driving but under ANY type of extra load or force...it is unknown if they can sustain being intact.
IE i would avoid any type of copy rims , for safety and reliability.
As usual this issue turns into some sort of debate.
Wheels are wheels... a car gets you from a to b.
^ will do... I'd be spewing if my mugen's got damaged or stolen. Full stop.
Dude I don't know whats up with you but I'm starting to see why you've had run ins with others.
You assumed I thought you were flaming Mugen? Not at all.I was only answering your query. You are misinterpreting peoples comments dude.
Then you add "As usual this issue turns into some sort of debate"...
Just chill man.
on your bike then mums calling u !!!!!!lol
make sure u wear your helmet
and take your bike lock with u bike mite get stolen
^ Not at all... ok retards... I don't own mugen's or want them (there a great wheel structurally &
cosmetically, but they don't make a few particular styles that I personally like)
I don't know if you've noticed but alot of Honda's are being stolen.
Get the picture.
And lastly I'd prefer to spend that sort of money on other non car related things .
