I think you'll find most do less than what's on the job card. If you find a trustworthy one, keep him!

no we do most of the important ones (well I did, can't speak on behalf can I?).
Thing was there is a set time frame in which we are to complete a service for the workshop to be running efficiently (one slacks off another usually has to cop some of it) so some things on the job card were usually not bothered ith such as checking air con piping, simple things that usually would not fail on the cars we usualy worked on.
