d series gearbox

theres one on eBay...its 800 but he got new clutch and 150xxx kms on it so yer, 700 is average price,

also when i turn left hard and then change to 2 it starts jerking forward until i change to three ?

lol wats wrong with crunching into reverse, is this happening while the car is at a stop? if so then dats really screwed

Mine does also. Pretty much everytime, when i am stationary. It also crunches changing from first to second. What causes this, Clutch or Synchro gears? I wanna rectify it and was planning on getting a new clutch but have read a bit on here today and somewhere i read its the synchro gears. Which is gonna be a bitch to fix. Riley.

its pretty normal for reverse to crunch if car is not idling.. due to reverse having no syncro..

i picked up a gear box, clutch (used but still got life in it) and a flywheel from one of the members here on forum for $150. I haven't used it yet, my one is still going
