I definitely think it has it's place in the Australian market.
The Toyota Tarago occupies the same market as the Honda Odyssey although the Odyssey is much less expensive.
The Toyota Avensis is a smaller people mover, Honda don't have a direct competitor for this class. The Freed would fit in quite nicely assuming the price point is competitive, which judging by the lower priced Odyssey, it would be under the Avensis price range.
