it amazes me to see so many cars lowered like 2+ inches and almost no one gets defected!!! ever....
The legal limit on my cars 1.5 inches, pedders sag to 2.5!!!!
300-400 doesnt include shocks does it?

i thought the defect was on the clearance of the entire body of the car? as in, the lowest point of the car has to be more than 50mm off the ground or something?
^ afaik its 100mm from the lowest point on the car

seems to only scrub on full lock on the passenger side only when the ground is uneven
flat surface seems to be okay though
running stock ek4 rims with 195/55/15 reoo1's
ahh i thought it was something like that, ty for confirmation +1 for you :)
i heard some people do a wheel alignment 1 or 2 weeks after installing new springs.
should you do it straight after or wait a little?
i'm still thinking between kings or eibach...
is there much difference? will kings sag really bad after a year or something?
what about spring rates? the higher the rate the bumpier the ride right?
also i've heard about bushings and all that. is it best for me to get em checked when getting the springs changed?
are the bushings and all that widely available? if i need to change em will it take a day or two or should someone be able to make a quick trip and buy a set? what about prices?
mate got his lowerd at ozzy tyres $390.. dun fink it was king spring tho
i called ozzy recently...the guy didn't have a good attitude..
apparent they only use kings/kmac
their website makes them sound like like pros but when you call em up they sound like typical hoons...
he said something like 'bring it in, we'll measure your car, you choose where you want it to sit and we will do it for you'
i asked if they can order eibach..the guy replied to me with 'why'?
cause i said i prefer eibach over kings...i asked if they can order it and they go no...
then i said thanks and the guy just hung up...
very good phone manners...
coz your asian and his probly lebo and he stereo typed u as typicial asian bringing in your honda seevic (althought u have a prelude the stereotype worked better with seevic) to lower it on your 15" JDM rims which is offensive 2 them because they sell nothing smaller than 22" usually installed on coupes
LOL
nah but seriously most of these places are like this...
yeh theyre like that.... they dun really care much abt customers ..quoting etc
even if u go to the place.. dun expect them to full rush up to you and welcome u this that.
if u want eibach..
Sydney Shock Absorbers
Phone: 02 9516 1182
call em n i gues get a mechanic to install em for u.. aint that hard, i can even do em
lol...
i know how they are..
i deal with people as a job and i know when i see someone that is going to be annoying
i had one come in and say stuff liek
'bro i bought this a few months ago and recently it f'ed up on me' and shit'
yes them and their 20" inch rims slammed under the guards..
i don't like cars that are dumped like that..i like my mods to be subtle if you know what i mean..i don't want my rear wheel 2 inches inside the guard or anything. i just want an even drop with a 1-2finger gap above the wheel and i want to be able to get to most places in sydney..
getting stuck on every speed bump is not cool..
recently i saw a ute with the front high and the rear wheel half way under the guard...
WTF is that stupid shit? seriously...
probly on bags bro, especially since its a ute, the chances of it being on bags are extremely high...
