Which component speakers?

Hi Guys,

Which MB quart range would i have to buy to match or to be better then Alpine type X and Focals k3P.

do yourself a favour and go and listen to some AVI component speakers... available in Sydney through Metrosound in Artarmon... for your money you'll probably grab a set of just above entry level units... he can stage for you the different ranges of speakers he has there, let your ears do the deciding

just remember that it would not sound the same in the store when its in your car... most of the time ull be disappointed

^ This is true... plus everyones ears and preferences are different... ive never heard speakers so clear and "real"

Go for Infinity + Small amp for both of them. There is couple to choose from, but they are very good quality speakers and sound really nice. Check out their website.
I bought a pair from WOW ages ago, not sure if anyone stocks them around AU, but sure you can get them from ebay.

I recommend Rainbow. I had a set of Germaniums and they were fantastic. Apart from that Focals are also very good.

where can I find a set of focals and how do they compare to mb Q

this might sound strange, BUT what if you go listen to them for yourself and you compare the difference??? go into any of the alberts stores in WA and listen, if thats too hard then be prepared to make a mistake...

Its hard cause they dont put those models on display....
