If they want to know, they can PM you.
Publicly announcing ur "negative" experiences with any registered business and claiming theyre "dodgy" is defamation.
Ozhonda is not a place to make complaints in this sort of manner.
Rules are the Rules man
IMO Concord spares are a good and cheap place BUT i wouldn't ever go somewhere they suggest to have the work done (but thats just me...im like that with everything 2nd hand)
This place sounds ****ed
Make sure you get all the paper work soughted out and take them to fair trading
I agree, and just to clarify - it is not defamation if it is true - but Ozhonda can not be associated with such comments even if you think they are dodgy, etc. That is why the rules of the site are clear on this.
It may sound unfair - but there are cases where innocent forums have been drawn in to legal proceedings that are filed against people just like YOU.
....Ozhonda prefers that members do not make posts that are of a kind that lead others to think less of a person or business – even if the poster believes the comment is justified, fair or true. If you do post such matters you should not identify the person or business. If you are in doubt about your post or comment check with your lawyer (and speak to your bank manager as to whether you can fund protracted defamation proceedings).
If theyre registered for tax which im sure they are, its against the law. They charge the 10% on EFT, cause the EFT code is the payment reference number. If there is no record of the payment they wont need to worry about paying or charging tax on that service or product.
ya the eftpos thing is common in places were normally cash is used, alot of restaurants that normally just deal in cash do it, they have to pay the bank to have the machine there for the odd person who uses it
in places where its almost always used (like grocery stores) they dont charge it cuz they use it enough to pay the banks off.
thats more of a eft surcharge than trying to get out of paying tax nax, you got them mixed up.
