quick answer
you will stuck to rotate staggered set tires.
front stays front and rear stays rear.
some people will just get cheap tires that have symmetric thread pattern. swap inside out.
my new set up FTW LOL. Now i can rotate them! and they are grippy grippy! fun fun to drive!
Nice... here's mine... 18x8.5 +35 - 225/40 all round

hi guys, a little off topic talking about the CU2 but...
What's the max wheel size and wheel width that can be fit on the real on a CU2
20 x 9 is pushing it yeah? with +37 offset
hey guys im kinda in pickle. ive got 3 choices of rims for the CL9 but im not too sure which one is "best suited".

Work vs-xx in gold! super advans look shit on any car but dats just my opinion
LOL super advans dont suit luxury cars la if thats what u mean racerwannabe ? they look good on smaller jdm cars
hey just wondering if it would b possible to fit 17x8 +35 fronts and for the rears 17x9 +35 without rolling the guards? the car is not goin to b SLAMMED just slightly lowered lol
rears will need rolling. might get away without it on the fronts but id do it aswell just to be on the safe side
another noob question will 19x8.5 +45 rub when lowered a few inches??
im just looking for some variety of sizes, any suggestions?
will fit if you run 225 or smaller tires I think.
+45 shouldn't rub the shocks.
Guru's,
for a CL9
Front - 18x8.5 + 38
Rears - 18x9.5 + 38
Possible with just rolled gaurds?
also what size tyre would you guys recommend..
i was looking at work wheels as well, the CR Kai's come in those offsets
http://workwheelsusa.com/media/wheel...Kai%20Spec.pdf
hey guys!
On the cd5 im running
17 X 8 +11s rears 205/40
17 X 7 +22s rears 225/45
good offset rims = rolled guards + camber
pics...
What width and offset should i be looking for in the 20' variety? Will be dropped atleast 2.5 - 3 inches
Cheers..
hey guys just a quick question
i got given a set of 225/35/20 wheels with +35 offset
its on the car, and i want to lower it
i was gonna go eibachs with 1inch drop, but was curious if i dropped it on h&r's on 1.3 front and rear.
just need to know if i need to roll my gaurds if i lower it with either setup
just looking at the wheel fender and the wheel, im getting the feeling that it will stick out just a little bit from the fender.. but im not sure until i really do it.
any ideas guys?
cut bit of the plastic guard and roll it properly ull need camber if the width of the wheels are x 8.5"
be more specific..
are u after sexspec style or true OG VIP style?
As there is a big diffrence in widths with these 2 styles,
sexspec just go down to your local wheels store and buy a set of 20's u like they will probably be like 7 inches wide max 8.5 and the will have a offset in there mid to high +40's, so with just a guard roll and the natural camber from a 3inch drop they will be fine.
But if u want True OG VIP style, then you will need something in the minimum 9.5 inches preferably in the double diggits 10+ with a low offset thats modderate not to wild as they wont fit then on a euro, some in the mid +30's then u need a camber kit and pump those guards or better still shave the lips off.
So 9.5 rear with a +35 roughly will be a sweet set up with the right camber, front u can work out,
Or just check out what kittbkk and Atjo had on there Euro's.
^^^
Great info!!
And yeah looking for sexspec over VIP style.
So now the hunt is on..
CHEERS!
No worries man, GL
This spec is fine with no rear camber kit, 235 tires, a bit of camber in the front and rolled guards.
has anyone attempted any gtr wheel specs on a CL9?
17 x 9.5J +15 Offset ????
just by reading the offset threads made, it doesnt seem like an easy approach at the fronts, but seems the rears will just stick up tad bit.
check out this for low offset, my mates bought new rims for his R32 so i put his old Work Eurolines on the euro for a laugh, it was undriveable with them. the fronts were 17X8.5 with 0 offset, and the rear were 18X8.5 with +6 offset.

hrmm, almost similar to the Hellaflush TSX......LOL
dish is loveleh =]
hahaha thats ****ing sick!
They can fit..
Just pump the guards a few mm then shave the lips off and run 195/35/17 & 205/35/18 tyres
with some sweat camber.
And then body drop that biatch on the floor!!
If u do, your the man!
Would these fit? 18x7.5 +30 fronts and 18x8.5 +40 rears?
haha nah they are wayyy too heavy! its crazy they were like three times the stock 16".
if they wernt such a rediculous dish they would look sweet. but yeh not gonna go that crazy on my car lol. i am looking for some 19's and considering 18's so if anyones interested in selling or a freind of a freind or something, let me know.
How much you looking to pay?
Brand?
lol hella flush whos the hella flush in ozhonda i neva seen it yet :P show us ya'll
I wanna go hella flush on my CK felix haha. are your vs-xx still for sale? from what I remember, they are the perfect fit for flush fitment on my model of accord, would have to run a lot of camber though haha
what are the specs man? cause ive been enquiring about vs-xx lately...
ooo tricky fit but could be done! what tyres man? probably need to run stretch on all 4...
American Hella flush is for pussy's!
True Hella Flush is Japanese VIP Style!!!
how bout not pose your car around hella flush fanboys
put some regular offset wheels and epic tyres get a manual box and go to sandown
and dont say u cant afford track time, coz if u can afford 5k wheels, then u sure as hell can afford track time, lawllll
lawl HF USDM vs JDM VS euroDM i think euroDM the first invented the phatt wheels deep dish
OH WUT!
you siad u werent gettin wheels.....
watta snake.....LOL
details man.....wat is it...PM me if ya want =]
ive been told i can fit 235/35/19 on 19x8.5 +45 with a 45mm drop...can anyone confirm this b4 i actually buy the tires??????
cannot afford 2 buy 2 set of 19's tires :(
i like you, but that statement makes me want to punch a granny... HF are pretty hardcore, not to take anything away from the jap scene though, boso are probably the craziest guys in regards to fitment, vip scene you tend to see more tuck than flush, but hellaflush has just got the dopest all round cars i reckon, im a much bigger fan of usdm and the volkswagen scene at the moment.... that said jdm is still ill as f*ck!!
thinking of getting some 18x8 35 offset wheels.
anyone got pics of this setup on their rides.
hahaha boys,
What I mean is Hella Flush is hardcore dont get me wrong, but compared to VIP..
Hella flush is like mild tune in VIP, most hella flush cars are wide wheel, low offset, stretch tire with samll drop,
VIP doesnt always tuck tires, Modern day VIP cars do, as most of them are on air and have less aggressive setups this is more of a EXE (executive) style,
Old school VIP cars, have wide ass wheels 11-13inches wide fairly normal, negative offsets, dumped on coils, and have there guards radiused to get even lower to the ground without tucking rim, so it looks body dropped..
Typical Hella Flush style

Hella Flush is better suited to 2dr sports cars imo.

hahaha, pic sl@ts
Thats how it is on forums, not unless they are into VIP, just like I dont understand the whole JDM scene.
Any more pics on the odyssey?
with some camber and your AR dumped i'm sure it'll be hellaflush USDM style then :)
I will have a poke around were I found the Oddysey pics from, I cant really remember, I will try to find for you Dan.
Okay guys more VIP pics of Oddyseys are up in a New Thread
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...91#post2606491
Ash, you should make a thread dedicated entirely to all your VIP pics.
I want to see more real vip modifications...
hahaha, lol, Maybe I might think about doing, just the photo uploading on imageshack sux.
have you still got your 7th gen VIP'ed? or have you parted out to stock now?
always liked your ride. fitment was aggressive.
Guys, Just a quick question. Does anyone here know if this size will fit the cl9 without roll the guard. 19/35/245 & 19/35/225. Much appreciate it if I can get some feed back.
