Tried to steal it from the servo. Got leads from the CCTV. But not going through the police. So it will take a little longer, but be much more gratifying.... ;) LOL

Clearly haven't updater here in a LOOOOONG time.
Most of the Prelude guys would have been following my progress over on PA. But for those who haven't, i'll have to update soon......
Basically, i've just been splashing some carbon around, harnesses are in. New seats are in and back out untill I finish my rails properly.
Fitted a Forbiden Motorsport cooling plate, which is about the closest thing I have made to a performance upgrade. LOL
I have a Tanabe underbrace to go on. And i'm swapping the 24mm Whiteline rear sway bar. For a 24mm selby front and a selby adjustable rear.
i removed the clear LED rear wing, and fitted a carbon job that looks awesome IMO.
Anyhow, when I get a chance, i'll do the big update thing so you can see what direction she's heading now. As I think the carbon is a slightly different look to what she had before.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I don't keep this thread updated like I should.
So here are a couple of pics in way of an update.....

Things are moving, and coming along nicely...!
How many sausages can they produce?
is Hans, is good...!
need some neon lights and leds mate

use this pic for reference
nice car,
i only wish i had the money to make my car look this great.
VERY nice car mate
Just skimmed through the whole thread.
Great effort buddy.
When the 4th gen just came out, it was my fave Honda for sure. love that dash.
I've grown a bit out of it now.
Big effort on your car - it has come along way
Would love to see a video after your turbo is done
I'll address your comment.....
Already have LEDs mate..... LOL
I know it's childish and most guys make fun of it, but thats just the way this car is...
If you can find the Vid of the 2010 anual QLD cruise, you can see the LED clear rear spoiler all lit up and changing colours...
If you wanna make fun of the car, do some reasearch first, it'll give you plenty of ammo.... LOL
Thanks to the guys who like it... Stiff titties to the haters.... LOL
It's not so much the money guy, it's effort.
I've done almost every mod on the car myself. DIY FTW....
Time, patience and effort and a blatant disregard for those who tell me i'm taking the car down the wrong road.... LOL
The idea of customising a ride is to make it uniquely yours.
I built a 389ci 4 bolt main cleveland in a XC falcon GXL 25 years ago, and loved it.
And I love this just as much.
Anyone who knows me knows i'm very much an individual. And certainly not a follower.
I think my car reflects that much at least.... LOL
Ok.... Some more pics in way of update......

Not long nowand she'll be ready for ECU and TUNE...!!!
Are you going to tidy up the engine bay?
Nice pipe work mate who did it ?? Just that top radiator hose looks a bit scary near the manifold
No mate. If (or when) something goes wrong, I want to be able to lift the hood and put my hand on the failed part. (Preferably after it's cooled a little)
It is how it stays pretty much, form and function. it's a driver. not a nip'n'tucked show car.... Just my daily driver.
Anyhow, A link to my thread in the forced induction section. in case there is something I missed in there, that I covered in here. Or visa versa....
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...22-Turbo-setup.
All fabrication work was done by Richard, of Autosport engeneering. he is a certifyable genius when it comes to race fabrication, though certainly not the cheapest guy around....
I had little clearance on my top hose. as you can see in this pic showing the old clearances.
http://i619.photobucket.com/albums/t...n/Boostb22.jpg
But I went down for a dig through the rad hose section at supercheap, and came up with a better hose. it's about an inch at the thermostat housing, but a good couple of inches everywhere else. I'm still considering making a little heat sheild though. I have to make one for the back of the power steering pump, altinator and AC compressor anyhow.
Pic showing new clearances. There's actually more clearance than it looks in this pic.
http://i619.photobucket.com/albums/t...an/Boostb7.jpg
But they couldn't even tell me what kind of car it was from, so I could order a blue hose to match the Gates Racing bottom rad hose I already have ready to put on...
(taken from my other thread)
hey champ...
i love the engine bay work...
for ur rad hose, try some heat wrap or that heat sleeve stuff u can get from autobahn....
^ this
That hose is way too close for comfort, dangerously close to the header piping. So much heat is generated there, esp with turbo.
props on the car BTW
yeah thanks guys....
Going to be venting the bonnet to get rid of some excess heat... ceramic coating everything. But I don't want to wrap the manifold though.
So yeah, if I wrap anything it'll be the rad hose its self. (Dump pipe will be wrapped, after ceramic coating...)
bonnet vent won't be effective, the hose is extremely close the the header, bonnet vent will make next to zero benefit for your problem.
I disagree, you should wrap the manifold, that will dissipate the heat - you should wrap that one, not the hose.
Its the exhaust header that causes the heat, which can result in the failure of cooling system, not the other way round.
isn't header wrap meant to insulate rather than dissipate?
Yeah mate. By stopping the heat from escaping through the wall of the extractor, your keeping the heat in the exhaust gas.
Which is the best way to get rid of the excess heat. While it's still in the exhaust gas....
id b careful in wrapping ur exhaust manifold......
best bet would be to HPC coat the manifold and heat sleave the rad pipe....
i have my aircon line in my itr about 1inch away from the manifold, my manifold wasnt HPC coated but i did heat sleeve the aircon line and never had any issues, my car was daily driven & tracked for over 18months and it was fine.....prob would still be fine today if no low life had pinched the car....
Yeah, i'm ceramic coating the manifold, but not heat wrapping it. The only exhaust pipe i'm wrapping as well is the dump...
I've looked at different methods for covering the rad hose. But haven't decided on anything yet.
Maybe heat wrap, with a stainless braid cover over that...??
Ok, just so that you know I'm still continuing my pursuit of rice.....
Most of my turbo setup has ben covered in the forced induction section.
But this wasn't really turbo related, so I put it back in here...

Wasn't sure about putting these on for so long.... But now that they are on, I'm very glad I did....
I like them.....
Look nice :) , Something i would expect a policeman to defect straight away tho :/
being they would slick someone pretty bad in a accident, if they hit them
