The easiest way is look at my wheels from behind and your wheels would be 0.25 inch (6.35mm) + 23mm (38-15mm) = 29.35mm sits in compared to my wheels. So my wheels sits out almost 3cm that yours.

Yo Mama has 20x9.5 +35 on the front & 20x10 +38 on the rear. Tyres had to be thin to fir these bad boys, so we 30 profile tyres on the rear & 35 profile on the front. This is what we had to do to meet the tyre placard requirements. (already had drama with the po-po) The front tyres fit alright, whereas the rear are pretty majorly stretched. The fronts, camber wise, are standing straight at 0 degree's, and the rears have a whopping 5 degree's on each side with 4 degree's tow-in.
Hope I haven't confused anyone. lol. Pic attached for your viewing pleasure :)

It doesn't matter what you need to do to meet the requirements cause it's still illegal fitment. That also including my wheels & tyres spec.
Mine didn't used to be. The tyres I had on the rear were too high, I think they were a 35 profile, then it didn't meet the tyre placard, so I got in trouble with the cops.
The wheels itself already illegal. We can only have up to 18" (2" bigger) & 1" wider. If the police didn't check your stock spec in the driver's door then you're lucky. Otherwise you can get defected by that.
That's not a law here in Qld. It's all about the rolling diameter.
Interesting... maybe i should move to queensland :p
Do you guys reckon that 18x7.5 and +40 would work on the front of my 2010 RB3?
not 100% sure on RB3 and assume 99.5% similar to RB1. 7.5 + 40 will have more than enough room as i'm running 7.5 +37 with chunky tyres without issues
Ausaccord, what's the factory front wheel offset on the RB1?
The RB3 is +55 for front and rears.
I'm now looking at a staggered set of wheels, something less flashy and slightly more circuit looking; DTM Z7
Rear: 18x8.5 +38
Front: 18x7.5 +40
Cheers again for the help.
OEM RB1 is 16x6.5 +55
Rear: 18x8.5 +38 may be a bit tight but with some guard works should be no problems
Thanks mate.
If 8.5 and +38 is too close the the guard for the rears, would 7.5 and +40 better?
I'm thinking it will be ok because of the narrower wheel. Yes?
If so, that'll mean I can run the same wheels front and back.
1 inch is 25.4mm so your rear is 14.7mm extrude then front 7.5 +40 but a -1.5*/-2.0* of camber will be ok without rolling guard.
all of above by guess plus if you are not slamming/even oem height on your RB3 then will be no problems
I run 19x8+48 all round lowered and no problem.
No silly camber but rear guards are rolled.
18x8.5 +38 should be fine for the rear...
I am running
Front: 20x8.5 +40 (no rolling, lowered and sits fine)
Rear: 20x9.0 +38 (guards rolled, lowered no scrubs and sits fine)
:)
depends what tyres you will be running
^^ why Dustin? yours look tough and mean
i know :( sadness...
My old man just retired and needs a car for a few month, so i have decided to give him the Odyssey. I might get it back later but for now, the baby will with grandpa and the wheels will need to go.
Here is my advertisement picture of the wheels...
Sorry to bring an old thread back to life but was wondering if the below will fit mah odc rb1
front: 18x8.5 +42
Rear: 18x9.5 +18
How will they sit? Flushed, minimal camber, will it hit anything?
Thanks
Front yes but Rear 100% sticking out like MAD, the rear maybe suit your R33
hey guys..
wondering if the following fit the ODC RB1;
F: 18X8" OFFSET +32
R: 18X9.5" OFFSET +30
does anyone have some pics of same fitment that they can show how it sits on the car etc..
thanks
Hey guys picking up my rb3 tomorrow
Im thinking of 19 inch rims x 8.5 all around.
I want flush
What would be a good offset?
+40 front?
+35 rear?
