it will be better to check with the dealer for a full details.. some offer very basic (and i mean very very basic) coverage for parts which wont spoilt 99% of the time or even if they spoil, no typical owners will ever notice.. eg: stuffs like your transmission boot cover only, while the major internal parts are not covered; engine block, while valves and other parts are not.
