**UPDATE**
Fitted my K&N Drop in filter lastnight ...
noticed that it is much responsive...(havent really gunned it)
but cannot hear any vtec engagement :( ?
vtec's on the ODC are generally quite? unless you have a pod filter or some shit?
Our engines don't have the 'VTEC Yo!' bit. Its an ecomony tuned iVTEC engine, not the Performance iVTEC.
****UPDATE*****

Also installed Mugen Grill.
Compliments from a dude on here - thanks bro!
THE EPIC FAIL!!! :(
NOW AFTER 30mins of running the HiD s ive decided to feel the bulb base housing the fckin whole bulb fell off!!
Thas right it fell off from the mounting points!!
Turns out the locking clips on the bulb black plastic bit couldnt withstand the heat that the bulb generated and melted/broke off!!
So now i need a better quality H11 6k bulb. This is what happens when u buy crappy cheap stuff from O/S.
The ballast and wiring looks good quality and didnt even heated up but the bulb was a POS.
Ive msg the dude who ive bought this kit resolve or send the replacement bulb or refund a portion of my $$ so i can buy a better quality H11 hid bulb.
Anyone got links of quality H11 35w 6k bulb only??
Attachment 22641
Attachment 22642
progress looking good and keep up!! Mugen chrome = unique
How are odc owners hid h11 bulbs are like? They rigid or melted onto the headlight sockets?
Mine are good... MTEC HID but yeah they are pricey
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW...ht_1168wt_1144
Thanks dude,
They are pricey as per description theyre D2 design rather than your str8 H11.
Dam but they look good.
Ive emailed Philips HID and see what the prices are for just the H11 bulbs..
this build making me very hot
I got mine off these guys about 4 years ago
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PHILIPS-3...#ht_3840wt_946
HIDs haven't failed to start up and has not flickered since installed.
Are you refering to the right beam being lower than the left? That's normal... I didn't adjust a thing when I installed mine.
Nah my right beam was higher ..

Sorry guys for the poor camera shot, was using my phone camera and my window tints are 10% all round - hence the darkness!
Im not a fan of the white interior on beige leather... just doesnt look right (just me though) hence i have left mine all amber/yellow
Tru dat,
The white smd looked dark as my tints are so dark lol..
****UPDATE****
6x 12 SMD lights have arrived.
Will be using these for my rear number plates and cargo boot lights as they were T10 types.
And keep the rest for spares :)
Can you please post the picture for number plates and cargo boot light? And is it hard to DIY Complete interior SMD kit ?
The after effect please, and can you show me what do you mean by the parkers light?
Another "silly" questions from me
1. Have you installed the BBK?How do you feel after installing it?
2. If not mistaken you got HID kit installed on your odyssey. where did you hide the ballasts as it is illegal to install HID kit right? And how did you adjust the level?
Parker lights are the ones at the front next to your low beams but inside your high beam lens.
1) i only installed wiper slot front rotors and better brake pads. Calipers are the same. It feels much better than the stock rotors and stops quicker!
2) i did have HID but the bulbs were defective. So right now im not running them until the replacements arrive but still have the ballasts installed.
The ballasts are installed next to the top strut towers. As pictured on my pics. Others have installed theirs under the headlight housing. Icbf taking out my headlights hence why i installed them where i placed it. Looks legit and professional.
Its not illegal to run HID on our cars as they came HID option and we have projector lenses. As long as you dont use stupid colours above 8000k lumins then you should be right.
U shouldnt have to adjust the levels unless they were off. The adjusting screws are on the back of the low beam headlight housing.
Hope this helps. Just look at my pics and what others have done - you should be ok.
[QUOTE=Rage King;3515893]Its not illegal to run HID on our cars as they came HID option and we have projector lenses. As long as you dont use stupid colours above 8000k lumins then you should be right.QUOTE]
Errr actually it is 'illegal' to fit HID on our cars, because you need projector head lights, head light washers and self levelling. It just isn't as obvious on our cars because of the projectors and the boys in blue can't be bothered with family 7 seater wagons. So as long as you don't go for some wierd a55 purple colour, you should be fine. I suggest sticking to at most 6000k, 4300 to be safe.
ODC headlights do have oem projectors. Theyre just no auto leveling etc.
My ucle who works at repairing headlights has all sorts of HID bulbs, ballasts and auto leveling motors. And at one stage when i worked there, i came across lots of RB ODC headlights.
And he confirmed that RB ODC Are proejctors :)
Here is the pics just taken,
Cargo lights only
http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...19B58999E4.jpg
Number plate lights
http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...19BA9146B7.jpg
Ahhh ic ic.. Dam rules
Evo is absolutely correct on HID and thats why i hide the ballast under headlight
see, told you the plate SMD u got not approved by me haha. not bright enough for the plate.
well done on the progress and keep up the good mod!!
Its funny that the regulations say that auto levelling and washers are required but if u look closely to most new cars now they will have auto levelling but the headlight washers are actually blocked off or dont exists. Lol and this is in Auatralian cars.
Even the JDM ODC with the oem HID dont have the washers.. Lol
BUT european cars the headlight washers are existent. Weird.
About the number plates SMD.
When looked closer, they are bright, but because it was taken from a cam phone, number plate covers/protectors, and the angle i took the pic from did not help with the coverage of the light rays lol..
These are 15 SMD at 360deg coverage, but in the pic it looks crap hahaha..
But if u look at the floor, its bright as daylight lol..
Ill remove the covers and take better angle and use better cam too next time..
Dunno mayb its just me heheeh :p
@AusAccod,
can you take a snap for me on the location where you hide the ballast?do you have the LED for your plate?Have you got the picture of it?where are you buying it from?Is it the same ebay seller from @Rage King
@Rageking,
can you take a snap for me your parkers light please?thank you
guys,
for the HID, shall I buy this one
or this one
Dude,
There is a pic of my parkers already posted. Have a look at the pics.
not an easy snap as front bumper needs off. just take your bumper off then you will see space underneath headlights.
yes SMD for my plate but difficult no snap again, sorry. bought from ebay but not same seller. check this thread again as i recommend the style of SMD for plate.
i could name a few from their AUDM specifications from their websites which do not mention Headlight washers or cant even see it in their pics and in person.
Audi A4 - most of A series.
• Xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime driving lights
http://www.audi.com.au/etc/medialib/....0010.File.pdf
Mercedes-Benz - some of the C class etc
- has xenon, auto adjust height but doesnt say auto washers.
Mazda 3 MPS
- Headlamps (Bi-Xenon) with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS)
but doesnt mention auto washers
there could be others but who knows.. LOL..

Fuuuuuuk yeah boyzzzzzz!!!!
Any update on the car dude?
Also, can you tell me who your eBay seller was for all the interior globes? Did he sell all the interior as a package or did you have to buy seperate ones for doors, number plates and etc
Cheers
Hi guys. Sorry been real busy with work lately.
Not much update besides installing the philips H11 35w 6k hid for my low beams and H11 55w 6k for my foggies.
Works like a charm and the beams are perfect!
The interior SMd kit i got came with: front , centre, rear roof lights, all 4 doors lights for the interior - 9 bulbs in total.
Then i bought parkers, number plates and cargo boot light seperately as i wanted them brighter and more smds.
Ill check my ebay history and post the link here.
Here is the 11 LED interior kit.

wow... been a while since i logged on...been busy with work ...
question.
will the wheel spec below fit the 05 ODC?
Front: 18x9 +32
Rear: 18x10 +37
obviously ill need adj camber arms.. and guards roll... but my main concern is how much will it stick out or will it sit flushed?
ill be using staggered tyres... what is recommended with this setup?
have searched in OH but they are all referring to 19/20inch rims with higher ET.
based on stock rim 6.5" wide with offset +55mm
front: inner clearance 9mm less (the inside of the wheel to the strut housing) and outer position extend an extra 55mm (position of the outside edge of the wheel)
rear: inner clearance 26mm less and outer position extend an extra 62mm
good luck and have fun with camber plus guards rolling
ive just trialled fitted them and bcoz the odc is not lowered yet.. looks like the outter rim is 1-1.5inch outter from the guards....
the fronts are ok... but the rear is just a tad too wide... dayeemmmmm
i had 19x9.5 +35 offset on the rear and was fine. mite need some stretching on the tyres. maybe run 235/45 or 235/50
Dont mean to be a hater but how in the world do you come up with that? Im running 20x10 +35 on 225/35/20 and it looks like this with camber arms and lowered
http://i.imgur.com/3hfJZv6.jpg
ive posted pictures on the forum somewhere if you want to check them out
With the right camber adjustment + lowering and guard rolling you will be able to have clearance with no issues at all. Mine is about 5mm from touching the guards
http://i.imgur.com/bVIw2k2l.jpg
true that but rears arent sitting dead flat straight right?
would have crazy camber?
What was your setup size again??
Size?
ET?
How low if your ride?
Im stuck trying to figure put the best ET and width without going overboard..
So im looking around 19x8 or 8.5 all round..
What would be the ideal ET ?? Not worried bout guard rolling or flaring.. But i would like a nice dish look...
Thanks

Looks good
i still got my old 20's for sale dude.... 20x8.5 +40 [F] 20x9.0 +38 [R] - it will fit good :) pretty much brand new rubber Yokohamas 225/35/20
Trust me.. they're not too big at all (and not bcos i want to sell them) i would still recommend 20 for this car any day as its the best fit in my opinion :) the sizing i have is not aggressive at all and was ordered for daily driving with full load :) prams, car seats etc.. etc..
***UPDATE***
Installation of the HKS Coilovers had to be delayed due to the lack of local service parts for it..
2 x Dust boot covers
8 x locking screws
4 x top hat bushings
all the above parts had to be ordered from HKS JApan as HKS Aust did not have them instock :(
all good ...gives me plenty of time to clean the interior and fit them floor mats in :)

****PARTS UPDATE****
Found these after market tailights and just waiting for this cosmetics to arrive.
not sure if srs
I hope you know what are doing mate, I am no expert, but there are differences that I do know off. The transmission tunnel for the RB2 Absolute is wider than our model to accomodate the larger exhaust piping and the 4wd gear. Also the exhaust system on the RB2 has a different layout. Not sure how you are going to fit all that in, I suggest ditching the 4wd system.
Other things to note:
Absolute Air box and the intake pipes are larger on the Absolute, you will need that.
Absolute Exhaust system is larger (headers and cat back), you might want to get that as well.
The ECU loom is different to handle the difference between drive by wire and drive by cable
