Fact is the zoorst is the engine of the line, does it add fuel, increase airflow to the motor, advance timing, No and unless your boosting a 3inch a will do bugga all unless you have a small restrictive system to start with. amant02 I had a K20 with bolt ons 2.5inch zoorts, 148kw, a change to a better intake woulda given me 150 easily. I still have the same 2.5inch zoorst right now and my K series makes 184kw now. Will I go to 3 inch ? Yes cause I plan on boosting down the track. Im just suggesting that from my experiences if you have limited $$$$, that upgrading to 3 inches isnt necessarily the best way to go.
Now Ive had a 2.5inch system on my R18 when it was turbo'd and E85 (147kw and briefly around 180kw's) it didnt need a 3 inch system either.

So I called up Toys Garage yesterday and am booked in for exhaust to be done 3 October 2014. It was 1000 for 2.5" cat back, extra 100 for 3". I'm gonna go with the biggest mild steel oval muffler as I can to reduce the noise to bearable levels as well as a hot dog resonator in there. Oh and 3" 100 cel cat to keep it "legal" lolz
Fingers crossed the noise won't be too annoying. The tuner himself confirmed that 3" would make more power but noise is a concern. I appresh everyone's input so far. Will post video of it when done. Ty xx

if you want quality and a decently quiet 3" exhaust i recommend vibrant muffer and ultra quiet resonator. i have it on my kswap, sounds awesome and isnt too loud.

Do it once and do it right, for anyone I work with on their K20A, I recommend 3" after seeing the results first hand, the losses can be compensated/worked around.
Won't comment on your other setup, only worked on the K20A in this discussion.
