Nice teg BADHBT when I saw it in the mag.
If i had the money, then id piss of the ls and get a dc2 and get the jdm front end conversion. Ive always loved it and always will, but i rekon my LS is pretty good so ill be keeping her. Money is a major factor really as to what you can do and cannot. Ideally id love to get a rolling shell of a dc2 and then build build build!
yeh true, money factor is a big consideration,
Marc feel free to post up some more pics, this thread has been pretty big, maybe we can get it stickyied????
BADHBT... feel free 2 hijak :D
hahaha maybe not hijack as such, but feel free for "inspirational pics"
Why dont we see if we can get lots of pics up of Da9s and DC2s and then vote which is the better option....
LoL yeah... wat he said :p

OooOOO!!!
H22A in a DC2 Chassis! :)
in comparison to the b18c7....
would the h22a have more grunt?
from wat i remember in the article, the h22a has heaps more torque than the b18c's. tegs r lighter than ludes, so i assume the car would fly. correct me if im wrong BADHBT
a normal h22 wouldnt be that much diffrent to the b18's
but a jdm h22 type is has alot more torque compared to a
b18cR
SAVE UR MONEY AND BUY A BICYCLE...40 yr old virgin style
ahh my badQuote:

mate it is a personal choice. dont ever think that mods will make the car more valuble
keep the LS i think they look good man, nice shape and you will be more original. Modify the car for yourself not for resale value, and by the time you decide to sell it you should have some money saved up for your new car anyway.
yeh im definately not doing it up for resale value, but u still have to consider how much money is going to be lost by the time ur finished, although i guess if its wat u really want then the money is not really being "wasted"
haha this thread took me over 1 hour to read through.
IN73GZ... from the person that use to own he car u are driving.... KEEP the LS man. It is actually one of my biggest regrets selling it. Only reason i did is because i had a company car and couldbnt afford keeping the LS. I mean i know the euro is familish, but ppl still consider them sexy, yet i can confidently say i got 5 times more looks driving round the LS. I believe this is because of two reasons:
1) they are sexy especially for a car their age and
2) they are rare
They are a fantastic car, and with the price of conversions these days ie b16a's etc, i would have done it with no hesitation if i didnt get rid of it.
ive also driven many DC2 vtirs and i actually much prefer the comfort and ride position of the LS.
on the DA9 cruise about 3 months ago, we looked so awesome crusing around together just because of how slick the cars looked.
excuse the essay guys..
There not all that rare, a good mint condition one may be rare but they are all over carsales! I still love the unique difference between an LS and any other cars.
I'm another chick who prefers and owns an LS. I much prefer the headlights to the round ones of the DC-1, although I have to say my ideal car would be the DC-1 (even if the headlights are slightly Accord-like).

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a82...sc/dc1back.jpg
I've considered modifying my LS, and as much as I love it, I'm a practical person who prefers no-fuss and low maintenance, so I think I will ultimately get a VTi-R. Maybe even as soon as next year (good-bye, LS).
I can't see myself putting in $$$ to do the LS up and then more $$ in maintaining it.
It all depends on where your priorities lie.
JMHO.
