yeah a lot of uncalled for comments have been posted...Lyle ignore wat the flamers are saying. your car is different and itz unique and for all the blood and sweat that has gone into this car it was all worth it, i reckon its pretty damn hot :thumbsup:

Thanks again guys, As a matter of fact i have a 2nd bonnet but no pictures yet, Its a triple vented Fibreglass bonnet that is painted black with the same ice pearl as the car. It goes pretty well together as the contrast is nice. As for Rims, 19s or 20inch chromes i will be in the market for soon, however for some track rims i wouldnt mind some 15/16inch Black light weight rims....

Seriously guys dont mind the haters in this thread they are just jealous for 2 reasons.
1. They are insecure about their own car and have to talk emself up and
2. I noticed there are alot of Queensland haters there. Well they are jealous because their arses are so white because they get no sun!
Seriously there are plenty of top notch Honda's in QLD possibly some of the fastest street legal in Australia and some of the best show cars too so all those from elsewhere flaming our state put up or shut up! I have many examples to refer you too, If nessesary I'm sure there are many who'll back me up! (Note I didn't say say other states cars are crap respect to those out there doing well! Also before anyone twists my words like little kids I said POSSIBLY some of the fastest! and have no problem with hearing who you think is fastest)

As for the QLD comments, there are some very fast honda's here coming out of the works, would love to see how they compare to similar projects aus wide. Ive seen this car from the absolute start to what it is now, hell I was there the day lyle got his exhaust on, if any of you were in my position words will absolutely not describe the transformation this car has undergone. And ive seen it flog the pants of many a nissan. Very schmick lyle.

Yes this engine is simple and i have had much fun with it and goes great for what it is, Being a D15b7 - basic turbo setup, standard internals and injectors, produceing 110fwkw on 7psi. And in all honesty i am very happy with that with the supporting engine mods

First of all i have been trying to make my points clear and i dont see why they are not getting across clearly.
- I COMPLETELY understand and respect the fact there are people on here that like and disslike my car.
- I COMPLETELY understand and respect the fact that there will be people on here that post that they like or disslike my car.
- I Posted my picturs of my car knowing that i would get a mixure as such and i have no problem with that either. I want to know what other honda owners think and i do care about their opinions, but in saying that no one can ever discourage me to do what i want to do to my car.
This is the ONLY problem i have
- People who come on here and say "Their opinons" (no problem at all) and add a heap of extra comments that honestly really are not called for. I mean come on seriously?
Can anyway say why comments i have listed below are REALLY needed? and the people turn around on me and say... "stop crying" when in actuall fact, i dont have a problem with people who dont like it, not at all hands down. I only got a problem with comments such as below? Does anyone disagree? If someone said that about YOUR car would you honestly think it is really necessary?

It's very blue. I'd say a well designed paint job could address the proportion issues and bring out the best in the car. Could probably use a tasteful wing, 'cos there's something about the rear I dont like. Definitely like to see a bit of black down the side or something to break it up. So, it's not my style but it's a great job. Looks like a stack of work has gone into making it seamless. That weld is very good.
Well done... but I have to agree... suicide doors would've been wicked!

Agreed Suicide doors would look great but rear doors with a 'dog leg' require much time effort and money to do the conversion and i just decided against it in the end, and in my opinion i liked the idea of welded rear doors because it is a really uniquie mod to do, which i think looks heaps better

hey mate, hmmm a hatch door would look better i believe as it is longer and would have a better proportion on it. But where the door shuts would all have to be modified, which looks to me to be a significant structrual part of the car. i spose it would be possible but i think i touwl be very costly and im not even sure what would have to happen to the back windows...
Not really a fan of wings too much, i dont mind the wing on that first eg coupe on page 12 but other then that i like a more shaved look.
hehe yeh thanks about the colour it took ages to pick, i was tossing up between the blue and a gold of some sort but went the blue in the end. Yes heaps of work has gone in but its still to be finished. should be done in the next few weeks for autosalon at goldcoast and ill post up some piccies when done....

i'd love to see this car have a hatch door and the self-made little door which can open it like a RX8. I'd say dont overdone the interior....get some fixed bucket seat would be a good match with the roll cage rather than retrim the doggy factory seat.
Yeh suicides are pretty cool, the shop where mine is at are doing some on a 929, pretty crazy stuff when you see the work involved ... wow...
I have got some buckets at the moment will be retrimming in a nice black leather and i ill be removeing the rear seats completely and put in a few bottles

yeh i just bought the whole mani, dump and turbo together as one unit. Didnt cost too much either and had heaps of fun outa it. Its a Trust Td05. Also running on standard injectors!!.... i think 110wkw is pretty good under the setup IMO
I've seen it done over here in perth and it didn't look too bad. front doors operated on hydraulics also. it had wide bodykit and front was converted with dc2 headlights. this was about 3-4yrs ago.

IMO it looks different, yet classy. but abit too ricy. maybe taking the scoop off and some nice wheels.. nice approach though. i can see that you wanted it to be original. and thats what it is...

THanks also for the nice replys guys, some things i am still working on. as i realy need new wheels, i know this ! ahha. I got a nice set lined up that will match the car very very well, and also have a triple vented fibreglass bonnet with a much smoother look, also painted black with the same ice pearl so it should break up the car reallly well! Will have them sorted in the next few weeks, will post up some pics when its finished.

its something unique..... BUT..... if i were you, i would hange the rims... they are gay, and tha bodykit replaced with some nice OEM lips or somthin simple.. i rekon it wuld look nice and sleek with all tha shaven haven parts !! ;) my opinion ofcourse..

MM yeh i dont mind lip kits at all, i think im gonna go more that style on my next car, but im relaly happy with the kit i got on this at the moment. Yes wheels getting rid of them soon but will have reallllly nice replacements by end of week :):)
Rear scissors are a bit of a screw around, they would have to be completly custom made and designed. Although i have seen reverse scissors on the rear of cars which i think looks pretty cool under circumstances. but pretty costly and custom too :s
