you can theres at least 3 in Australia already of the N1 variant, they are already approved for SEVS import in the form a of a 2 door N15 Pulsar VZR.
Also they have a more linear powerband compared to vtec as the intake cam vvl kicks in thent he exhaust cam... TOO BAD theres little to no aftermarket support for them due to Honda monopoly.. and TOO BAD theres little market for them... i would have gotten one, just took too long to get the sevs, and for $14k landed and rego'ed i would have gotten it over an EK :p
But for that price range, the AE111 Levin BZR is a better buy anyway with excellent handling, power, lsd from factory.... but then again i'm more of a coupe than a hatch fan
