My build thread. (Black Ek1 Hatch)

Got my lip and front bar freshly resprayed during the week and got it back yesterday.

Chucked it on and washed the car yesterday, here are some pics.

The pics make my headlights look hazey but they are motherfkn crystal clear.

Far out i havn't posted on here for ages!!!

So i have done a lot of little things with beeza since the last post.

I'm only going to post up what i think will help others.

So i decided to get my shit together and get the suspension upgraded on my car and purchased an asr enforcement bar and ek9 rear sway bar and 2 new toyo t1s (cant fault em!).

I became lazy and this shit sat in the garage for about 3 months as i put my head down at uni and decided to spend some money on ally mu partner lol.

Then i decided it would be safe to get a front sway bar. Found a front sway and ek9 front lca's as we all know the cxi is gay and doesnt have the holes for a front sway bar.

The bushes were in good condition!

Slight surface rust, no biggy is spray the shit out of em with rust converter later on.

Those expensive end links were in great condition too, slight rust on the bolt but some silicon spray fixed em up!

I learnt from all my ****ing around that yes the ek9 fron lca's fit straight onto the AUDM cxi frame (Thanks killa from manila and Lls)!!

If ya wanna do a mickey mouse job just hire one from woolies,this way U can spend 2-3 hours doing it.OR U can do it at car lovers,your a bit rushed for time there but U can still do a great job forsure.

Could give that rear tow hook some black paint lovin' :)

Friday or next monday morning is good for me,if ya can stay the night before,even better (cold engine,more time,shade in the morning)

No worries dude, how's the K&N Intake go for ya mate? Tossing up between that or a whale penis haha.

Both work well you just need to get air that is colder than the engine bay into it. Come to think of it beeza and I made a ghetto air intake for my car, ill have to post it up soon.

WHale penis is good becuase of the material they are made of doesnt heat up anywhere near as much as metal which i have. Get cold air into that sucker if you want performance, throw it in anyway if you want better sound.:thumbsup:

Hahaha, fair enough. Just saw they've got the whale penis on ebay for $93, so i might grab that next pay =D

nice build man i wish the budget for my ek1 could extend to genuine ek9 parts like yours haha. might have to bookmark this
