Im tossing up getting one of the exhausts or getting a magnaflow cat from ebay and having it installed.
Im thinking a hi flow cat will give better gains than the exhaust now I have I/H and Reflash.
I am concerned about noise though.

Let me warn you about the Skunk2 system first.. It's really loud as it is and mine is now much louder with the Stage 2 Ver.3 cams, valve springs, retainers, 3 inch Metal Cat, RBC Manifold and ECU... It's deafening... On top of that, my car sounds like a diesel truck as well.... I wonder how it will be when I put in the race headers to replace my DC Sports headers.
if you want comfort without the resonace and vibration in the car, Skunk2 cat back is not for you.
Anyone have xp with the HKS hi silent power
looking to get one in near future
Bit of a bump, does anyone know if the CL9 and CL7 share the same exhausts?
Ive been looking at the skunk2 for my euroR but im wondering will i have fitment problems due to my cat convertor,Skunk themselfs dont even seem to be sure if its a direct bolt on for the CL7
:O you have a euro R?
Yup ;P But its a hard car to find parts for at the minute!
hard to find parts!!
theres like heaps of cl7 parts compared to cl9 haha =P
but i think the exhaust will fit your euro-r as cl7 exhausts fit our car so i assume cl9 fit cl7 cars
anyone looking to get fujitsubo. i just picked up the new autosalon today. and they had a review of it on the accord euro. apparantly dyno tested there was no gains at all lol. i think they had injen sri aswell because they had a review of that as well.
same design as stock. a little louder but no gains.
lucky im not gettin that exhaust =P
mayb theres no gains cos it was designed with the k20 in mind?
lol that's quite sad to hear ..
on another note, doesnt the skunk2 come with a silencer anyways so it wouldnt be that loud
No gains because it is a silent exhaust. We've known that for a while when a member in Melb had his Euro tested before and after the fujitsubo exhaust. The gain was within the dyno error I think. Still, the Fujitsubo is probably one of the only 2 exhausts I would choose.
given other aftermarket catbacks alone will give u shit all gains. u can say its for the looks and the fact its something aftermarket :p
Point me in the direction of where's selling them
On a gains note,a recent mag feature of a CL7 here with the skunk2 showed a 7bhp difference when rolling roaded against stock, the car was then rolling roaded again with a k+n typhoon and gained 15bhp,its total figure was 239bhp(at the fly)
hm im not sure where u can buy the cl7 parts, well some traders on this forum should be able to get them but not sure for u since your overseas.
do you have any people who specializes in importing jdm parts around your place?
for some brands off the top of my head
http://www.jsracing.co.jp/
http://www.mandm-honda.com/car/cl7_main.html
http://www.spoon.jp/eng/
those are the brands that pretti much have a lot of parts for the cl7
while there are more brands out there most of them dont have the complete catalogue of parts like these ones and sell just a few parts for the cl7 (exhaust header etc etc)
yer he prob was. (other ones are dual which is just more weight then the 70rr which is like race spec i.e SUPER LOUD)
ask chris_f he used to have it and is selling one atm (unless some1 bought it already cos its bloody cheap)
from the two clips ive seen, its a deep note but.. i dunno, sounds amazing haha
Yeah, I've bought his one. He had some clips but the links are expired. Guess i'll just have to wait and see.

Hm, i'm not sure whether i like the note or not .. what do all you guys think?
i rkn vids dont do justice of exhaust sounds so yer hope u will like the sound when u get it
I'd use that for track, but not for street. Hehe
