Based on my experience the 17x7.5 with a +35 offset will fit your car right cause i drive a civic sports 08 and bought rota svn on that size.Especially yours is lowered so it will fit without scraping.And the tyres specification you want will fit on that size,cheers

Careful that the specs dont hit the strut as mine is like a couple of mm from it

If the offset was to be higher, say +45, exactly the same wheel & tyre size & stock suspension, will the issue of rubbing at rear be fixed? Is scrubbing at front expected when turning full lock with say +45 offset? Intending to keep stock suspension and not lower the car. Thanks in advance guys.

it depends on how wide ur wheels are and what tyres u put on them. +45 wont scrub if u have a rim that is about 8" wide or narrower, but u could experience the wheel or tyre rubbing on the inside suspension parts if u have, say +45 on a 9.5" rim.

Same size as the post that i quoted mate but maybe increase the offset to say +45 or so.

if 19x8.5 +43 works on stock suspension, then +45 should fit ok on stock suspension. 2mm of offset is a very small margin. however, coilovers wont allow those specs. if u end up getting aftermarket suspension, u may need spacers for those wheel specs. stock suspension is very soft tho, and altho u may not scrub on ur outer guards, ur tyres may scrub on the wheel wells and splash guards during dips, bumps and hard turns.

Hi man, I am new to the forum..

I am just wondering whether I will be able to fit in 18x8.5 ET30 and 18x9.5 ET40 with 235/35 and 275/35 on my FD2?? I will be using an aftermarket spring and will roll my guards..

Is that possible??

i can't see any way of the 275/35 fitting?

and 9.5 +40 might be hitting your suspension depending on if you have a/m shock + springs or only stock strut + springs..

roll + flare + pump + pull + whatever is gonna be needed to fit 275 ......

negative camber will only bring the rim and tyre even closer to ur suspension and cause problems. 275/35 is far too wide for our civics. 18x9.5 +30 can fit, but not with 275 tyres. not even with 235 tyres (i've tried lol). u'd probably need 215 tyres and a bit of camber and have guards rolled... but that would ruin traction and function of having wide wheels if u were after better grip and performance.
