If the rear park sensors comes from factory fitted like accord euro lux then it will beep and shows in MID. however even if put geniine rear park assist as a genuine honda accessory it just beep and it wont come in MID. I got genuiine honda rear park assist with my accord euro cu2 My10 it just beep and doesnt shows in MID.
Honda dealers use after market rear sensors too which is bit cheaper but it comes with a black seperate small box usually they stick on top of the rear view mirror which shows in green LED the distance and beep.
hope this helps..
When you asked for reverse sensor, you should state is it the OEM honda or aftermarket. when I bought the FD2 ages ago, they just put down "Reverse sensor" but I asked them "I want the OEM one" and they put "Reverse sensor (OEM)".
Interesting point on OEM sensors. I wouldn't have known at the time what the difference was and known to ask. I wonder if there is OEM available on Japan models. It may change when production comes from Thailand.
It's interesting as you reflect back on how cars have progressed. Years ago there's was nothing in terms of aids. It's so much easier to drive car these days.
there is no civic in japan anymore
Talking of accessories, has anybody had fitted the 'door styling guards' on their new Civic? Do they look good?
I thought reverse sensors would have been made like, standard on just about every model since 1999
