of coz CF hood lighter than the stock.. but the point for normal modifier is just cosmetic purpose.. rarely people use it as performance as the CF hood u find nowadays are mixed with other material like fibre.. not 100% pure CF.. =)

isnt a pure cf hood illegal? they can get easily break to pieces when hit something rite?
yea pure cf is illegal...it must be like fibreglass covered by carbon only...as i rememberd from my cf hood for my impreza.

with those with the mugen kit. Did your kit come with some rubber beating to go inbetween the lip kit and the body of the car? and if it did, does it seem to show a gap or anything? like is it thick rubber?
Anything which is not from stock is illegal....no matter Full cf or not....most cf bonnet in the market is base on Fibreglass with CF cover.....Even Geniune items. Full CF bonnet are made by Dry carbon which is really pricey.....I don't believe there is any full carbon items on street in Aus atm.......:pQuote:
