ya killin me Baygon with this electrical shit, just take it to an auto electrician !!
Just a question for kicks,
Possible to put a Sunroof with all the electronics (like an FD2) onto a FD1?
I've seen a project where they removed the sun roof for a regular roof, for a track car.
I'd assume you'd be able to do it with a little bit of work.
Did a quick google search, and found a ozhonda post back in '07.

What you guys think? Worth it if it was 2-3k ??
Wish I got that FD2 when I first bought the car argh.
sunroofs are nice but very deep in pockets when fixing it up. friend recently had to fix his up cause theres a 5mm gap that wont close and reason is that the gears were jammed. got quoted 700-1500 to fix had 2 options
buy new parts and install or get new one
I got an aftermarket sunroof on my jazz. 8 years hassle free so far
Sorry to revive an old topic but, wanna take extra consideration before I install this..
Im gonna be installing a 19mm Ultra Racing RSB from my stock 11 hollow RSB. The discussion is replacing the endlink setup as well. From my previous feedback I got, The 19mm RSB used with stock endlinks should be fine. Can anyone else confirm or give me your 2 cents? Thanks.
Spoke to Webasto Australia about the sunroods
Hollandia 900

vs.
Hollandia 700
http://www.webasto.com.au/products-a...html/8218.html
Both cost $2200 including installation, and everything. comes with 3 years warranty.
Price is slight up there, but looks pretty OEM, and I don't mind paying that much. Been reading on them all day, seems not many problems occur regarding these particular aftermarket sunroofs.
Opinions? Tempted =[
3 year warranty is alright, having a sunroof is awesome
dat sunroof tilt, makes a car x100 more sexier

Your car should be able to run those wheels on the lowest settings.
My wheels were a lower offset than yours and it didnt rub at all. You need skinnier tyres
fk thats low, have you ever been defected man

Do you guys know if the insurance company will care if my car isnt road worthy?
I got into an accident last week and the car is due to get assessed by AAMI this Wednesday.
Im not sure if they would care since it wasnt my fault that caused the accident but im scared
they'll cancel the claim cause the car is too low and not road worthy.
I think they'd care if they're forced to pay for the repairs, but if they're merely assessing the car so they can confirm how much it is going to cost for the repairs I'd assume you'd be alright.
Might be worth raising your car just so you know you won't have any problems.
Also for the future it might be worth informing your insurance company that you have the suspension on your car, just so you can cover your own behind.
Thats what i was thinking. But my coilovers in the rears. I took out the locking collars so i have to take the spring out and put
the collars back in to adjust it. And if i do that mean I'll have to get an alignment and all that jibber jabber.
I think I'll just have to fork out some money then. Better to be safe than sorry.
Will my rates go up if I tell them I have coilovers? I thought Coilovers arent ADR approved?
Making them an illegal modification. I think only Australian brands like Pedders are ADR Approved.
I got quoted $3,100 for repairs. Thats brand new Boot, Bumper and 1 Light.
For example, when I had my car assessed the things on my car that aren't OEM were dismissed as they weren't seen to be a factor or cause for the accident.
If your coilovers aren't at all a reason for what happened to have happened then you should be alright, but don't take this as a 100%.
To be honest, I'd personally justify the money that you'll spend to get your car back to a stock height just for peace of mind, if for any reason at all.
I'd give your insurer a call and have a quick chat on a theoretical basis to get an idea of what your circumstances are in regards to your coilovers, I wouldn't take the advice of users on a forum.
yep raise the ride height, your not only risking insurance but potentially the cost of repairs to the other car. An alignment is cheap, being broke aint. I had an insurance dude come and look at my Corolla once as part of a claim, turned out he was ex cop & panel beater. I was suprised as **** when he told me the car was a chop job, it was written off, couldnt be registered, he then asked for the original sellers details which I supplied him with.
Good point actually, I'd be careful incase the car that crashed into you somehow claims it was your fault (no real idea how, as they ran into you) due to your ride height you could be running a real risk.
But overall I'd assume you'll be alright as the insurance company will be getting money for your damages, if they were looking at funding your damages I think they might be going over your car with a fine comb.
Yeah. I'll just raise it up.
Im thinking about keeping it higher as well. Make it more Functional.
As you guys have seen in my previous pictures. that shit is wayyyyyy
to low haha
When i go over a little bump my front tow hook touches the ground and makes a REALLY loud
banging noise. shit my pants a few times when i first started doing it.
Pretty sure I've accomplished being the lowest FD in Melbourne :D
Braking really hard on 15's gives a nice grinding noise from the front tow hooks as well. >_<

They're not Static. I know the Silver one was on Bags but not sure about the black one.
The black ones wheels are right next to the fenders. Doubt that would be static/Daily Driven
Alot of Agents are VIP Bagged style cars. I've hung out with them a few times. Not my cup of tea
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Ffs wrong thread stipid tapatalk
Nah posts were intended for another thread but tapatalk is bugging out like the piece of shit it is
Basically software to browse the forum instead of using stock browser, the new versions should be alright, but you need to pay to upgrade, I'm on an old version :-p
It's good and all, but it has the occasional bugs that won't ever get fixed because its not breaking the application from use.
Basically they'll fix application breaking bugs, but not annoying little bugs, for annoying little bugs they want you to pay for the new version.

The front ones are ****ed cause cars so low everytime I go over a speed hump I scrape it and it ripped in half so I threw them out.
Rears are on the car. But cars in the body shop getting repaired so cant get any pictures.
