Was talking to someone recently, the sensor on the K20z is determined by the diameter of the pipe, so if you try and alter where the sensor sits even just a little bit, it will throw a check engine light.Quote:

Curtis is correct, r18 is map sensor and k20 is maf (mass air flow)
Why not just buy a k20 intake.
Not necessarily true. Pre turbo I moved my maf around a lot, putting distance and sometimes shortening the track to the intake. No affect on performance or CEL. however if you remove the vains from the maf housing that screws up the air velocity hitting the sensor and may cause cel or jerking/stalling issues.Quote:
