I think the point wasn't that they did it in 3 days... but that if they, by themselves, as amatures, can do it in three days, why is it taking a shop full of so called professionals so damn long

hmmmm.....wakefield??? you think it's wise to take that down there? I mean the setup is new so its best to run in the motor and everything first before giving it a hard fang at wakefield. unless you planing to do a couple of 1000 km's before than.Quote:

Still damn waiting for pic bro!!!!
i think most of the time has been spent on waitin for parts .. so thats y the long wait....
and Qball is not goin to take it hard on track la..... just goin easy for a bit of fun .. so i guess it ll be alrite...
the engine is already tuned? it didnt have to get run in?
i drove past the shop after work...still there
maybe hes not tracking it... just goin for the scenic cruise... run in the car.. show us the set up.. am i right?? cause i dont think its wise you take it too.. get use to it cause im sure it doesnt go and handle like it use too... ;)
Well i read through like 16 pages and thought stuff it ill go to the end and see the finished product.
WTF NOT FINISHED ?!?! :(
Hopefully it turns out all ok :)
yeh i understand where all of yous are coming from, and believe me, the guy knows how pissed off i am that its taken soo long.
im in total agreeance with yas there.
nicks rite in sayin that ive been waitin for parts for the majority of the time, n as stated b4 - i have expressed my frustration to the mechanic.
he has promised me that its redy this weekend unless of course something ****s up...touch wood.
n yeh, wakefield day im jst gona take it easy, get used to the new clutch n jst have a good time hearing her pssst hehe
up for a few fotos too :)
cheers fellas
Personally Q........i wouldn't take it to wakefield. I would drive it around and give it a bit here and there. Then whene everything is OK, take it to wakefield. Getting a tiltray from wakefield back to wollongog/Sydney is not cheap!
i think he should run in the engine probably first before even giving it like that!!! but yeah it's his car , so his call
must be frustrating man. Mate just go 4 heaps of cruises till u clock up about 1000 km then give it the fang lol. youll be alright. just dont get tempted 2 give it 2 it 2 much as ya runnin it in.
