EP3 Type R

Also I don't know if this is appropriate (mods feel free to remove if it is) but I'd also like to share that there is a Black EP3 listed on Carsales in NSW at the moment for $29k was only recently sold in Melbourne for $22k with a RWC (It is now listed without one)

Buyer Beware as this sold in Melbourne about one month ago.

I'm looking at it right now & funny how he mentions "Civic EP3 Type R only 1 in australia thats black"

depends on km and condition, EP3s are selling between 600k to 1.3m in Japan currently.

which is quite a big drop since we bought ours when yen was 100 (between 1.2m to 1.8m).

in a way what was lost on AUD value has been offset by cheaper price in Japan.

if u are considering importing, speak with IMG as many people here have good experience with them.

u'll need to factor another AUD$1-2k on top of the final auction price to become FOB price. then another 10-12k for shipping, duty/GST, compliance etc.

yups i know exactly which one ur talking about, that black one has been for sale 3 times in a 6 months period. It was the worst example of an EP3 i have ever seen in my life. The rear lights were cracked, Centrecaps are missing holes in the dash from gauges, it was an ex Track car in japan, Rocket cover turned into silver. The list goes on.. It was a grade 3 import from japan..=)

Personally I wouldnt recommend it. It is probably cheaper buying one here for $28k and much less hassle.

lol agreed. Who would want a black EP3 even if its the only one in AUS.

tossing up between an ep3 or a cl9, their similar "intial cost" as in ~$25k, but what's the cost of running it, insurance, fuel consumption, rego, servicing etc.? compared to a euro?

Yup not all Black Ep3's are ruff, but that one definately is =)

sorry man, didn't mean to offend :( just that black one is certainly a bad example of an EP3. And the seller as said previously sounds strange. Sorry again! :(

26k for your mugen look/style(dosent come cheap) is a steal, everyone know how much you love/spent and look after the car.


if i still got havent got a ep3 r, i'll grab it of you rite now, yeh i do like the white color more, but bradb16a car will beat that simple point, 3 words "bang of the bucks"!

and i can be even more rare, haha the jdm ep3 is rare euff.
