Bug orgy on car
Gg man that devalue
Yeah its on when my headlights are on, and it flashes when i brake.
I said to them if anything its a safety feature, but they believe that if your car doesn't come with it you shouldn't modify it.
In the end they just say "you're not allowed to have it on", not so much of a fine.
Hey guys, added some stock stuff to the sale thread, they're dirt cheap so swing by and grab em'. No point in leaving stuff lying around.

Yo Yo, anyone in Sydney, know or recommend any decent shop that can install and rear sway bar and muffler on my FD1?
Thanks!
pm bennjamin for the rear sway bar, he might do the muffler as well.
bennjamin is the sex. http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/member.php?79-bennjamin
Haha cheers guys, I got shiftperformance to do it for me. Nice and quick.
Quick review, js racing JUST muffler, with a silencer, is really quiet, just barely above stock. Without silencer, it sounds much better, but not overly loud. My mate just got the js racing cat back, now that this is super loud.
Pretty happy.
And the UR RSB, had to widen the holes a little, couldn't use the rectangluar plate, as there wasn't really anywhere to put it when attaching to the car, hopefully no dramas with that. Can slightly see improvements during turns.
overall pretty happy.!
I should take photos and post a build thread sometime. but it's embarassing, with stock oem vti-l wheels. =[
Got my B-Pipe un-silenced today.
My god.... Giant farting machine! Got it tested and gave a reading of 110db durring back off.
I love it. hahaha
@tomolicious Now we have 2 FD2 running straight pipes around the western suburbs :)
Also, Anyone in Melbourne know of a Stock, Black FD1 with a giant Fart cannon on it?
Saw it at footscray and the front guards around the wheel arch is all ****ed up.
Signs of the car previously slammed and on wide wheels.
No problems with back pressure because i didnt go too big. Mine is a straight pipe from catback into a Varex Muffler.
No real noticeable loss down bottom end. But you can slightly feel a difference Mid Range - Redline. Feels a bit more smoother because no restrictions.
Average price for a 50km minor service ?
Getting mine tomorrow just need to know, so they dont rip me off.
Off topic guys, picked up my new beast on saturday...
And man oh man, what a car.. You hear stories but when you actually drive one it blows you away.

sway bars for civic FD1
ultra, cusco and whiteline which one is the best to get guys?
Not genuine. BUT! Geuine parts.
If i remember correctly.. He shipped over a smashed FD2R and swapped everything over.
Interior ect. ect.. Not 100% Sure. Think he was Korean. Didnt understand much of what he was saying lol
Honestly. I would just go for the OEM Civic Si swaybars.
If i remember correctly. They are 25mm Solid front and 17mm rears.
Someone correct me if im wrong..
I got Ultraracing RSB installed last week. Notice the difference, I purposely go slightly faster around corners xD , had some wheel sliding once =/
I tried getting OEM Civic Si before I chose UR, but had trouble getting it shipped from the US, due to size restrictions..
Stock FD front is 24mm, and rear is 11mm (it literally looks like a tree twig). So I went with the 19mm UR instead of the crazy think 23mm cusco/whiteline. ultra racing also makes 16mm which I saw via ebay as well.
Hope that helps.
UR, only cause johnnyFD I think, or was it Aeris, had an issue of the Cusco snapping off, when he hit a corner edge on the road, I believe it's just too stiff and not enough flex to maintain integrity. But going from 11mm to 19mm already a big difference, not to mention stock is hollow, and the aftermarkets i believe are full metal bars. Only thing, the UR holes are smaller than our civic's holes, so they have to widen the hole slightly, as the mechanic at shiftperformance, say's they slightly uncomfortable as this can reduce the strength of the holes holding the bar. But so far so good.
Can't speak for Cusco, or whiteline, besides that they are thicker and provide better stability. there's a fella in the parts for sale section selling the whiteline RSB, prob can ask him for feedback on it.
Hi guys,
Im selling my FD, i have a fd2r rear bar and maybe fd2r seats if you guys are interested

Stevil noOooOoooo!!!!!
uh oh stevil
You pricks stealing my thunder !!!
yeah yeah how does 2 Blown Motors in 14 days sound !! lol
1st motor was approaching 130,000km, been absolute abused as NA at 15 trackdays, valve bounced allday everyday at 7psi for the last 12mths which included 6 tracks, solid 148.4kw ATW. bottom end bearing eventually failed.
anyway I threw another motor in and I thought phuck it lets turn the boost up to 10 psi !! Holy Shit power went up a nice 24kw atw but torque went up by 50nm atw. This meant that instead of the stock 170NM, my poor little conrods now had to deal 350+ NM at only 3,500rpm. Yep I managed to squeeze in a twilight session at the Creek last week and the speeds were 10-15kmh quicker everywhere. I was short shifting at 5,500rpm such was the torque ! pulled well over 200kmh down the main straight and finished the nite in 1 piece.
Well that was the good bit, then Tues after work sth of Nowra in a 60 zone 1 of the rods decided the party was too much, all the engine oil was dumped back onto the turbo manifold ( could barely see past the white cloud ) pulled over n grabbed the fire ext as I was thinking it would surely go up in flames !
Anyway got a motor with only 40,000km on it so its in and Im back to 7 PSI ! where it will stay for the time being ............
bit of Video my mate recorded from his 450kw/840NM XR6 trackcar ( does 1.08s at Wakefield ), not going hard as this was my first session at 10 Psi and I was concerned about the Exedy clutch not holding the torque, it did.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LzlV5YZzsU
yeh i didn't really want to sound spiteful before but putting 10psi in a stock motor is a big ask
Nah all good Curtis, been a crazy month or 2 for the Civic. I sorta knew I was close to the limit these Motors can handle in terms of HP ( 300 HP seems to be the number bandied about in the US before you need to start build the motor, I just didnt really factor in that Torque would kill it so Quik ). Motors are cheap so I have no qualm's about pushing an OEM motor past its limits B-)
Triple tone
Nice
Just nice :-P
LOL!!! Looks like it's been a big hit for sure
Here's a lil surprise
