hi all
just purchased a set of 17x8 +45 (f) and 17x9 +50 (r).
Can someone recommend me some tires sizes as im thinking of buying of tirerack.com.
thinking of Hankook Ventus V12's
i am lowered on king springs atm and looking at fitting coilovers soon but wont be going too low.
just want some ppl recommendations as i'd like to see if i can get tires WITHOUT needing to roll guards (will do it though if needed), dont really want to relocate the tabs though
thanks heaps
225/40/17
255/35/17
^^ thanks ludecrs
will those sizes need rolling? if not then im going online to buy tires now then :)
ur a champ and ur car is an inspiration for mine :D
tried to find those sizes but struggling?
doesnt seem to be many choices around
:(
These sizes are a closer match to the stock rolling diameter and wont put your speedo so out-of-whack:
215/45R17 or 225/45R17
245/40R17 or 255/40R17
Just note, depending on your rim width and offset, you may still need to modify your fenders.
run 215's up the front and you won't need to roll however there's still a chance you can clip your guard and bend it if your not careful.
rears can run 255's or 245's upto you.
Buy Dunlop Direzza Star Specs.
They have that sizing for you wheels.
star specs have thick sidewalls you will have to go thinner on the fronts if you don't want to roll
also a rear roll is pretty much usless if you don't relocate bumper tab.
if anyone is interested in some 17x8 mugen MF10's, +55, i have some for sale :)
