short ratio makes a mad difference
with the long ratio box youll drop out of v-tec when you change gears
{Quote 'anyone got most of the plastic panels they dont need? =]'
'did it look like it had most plastics in the back at the wreckers?' Quote}
One had the plastics in the back and interior last week....
On another note, my brothers DA9 is nearly complete, all work done by me in the shed, cuts and all! LS/VTEC (B18A bottom P30 CTR pistons, ARP bolts, GSR head)

The only way you won't drop out of VTEC is if you rev the **** off the engine and shift at lightning speed.. I've had both and the short ratio makes a world of difference !
i must be a granny driver lmao...
yeh i rev to 8k and short shifter and i can shift pretty well lol
short ratio will be goin in with my b18a which i shud have in there in a month with few other goodies on it :P
ill post the pics as i work on it
Hey Guys. I have a 1990 DA9 that literally just clocked over 100,000 genuine kms. Im interested in knowing if there are any other DA9's that have kms this low or lower? From my brief search on carsales etc, it seems I have way less kms than any other for sale. (I bought it from a wealthy elderly man who had other vehicles, he hardly ever drove it)
i put a b20 in, more torque =D
personaly i dont care to much about kms, the car is old so you have to expect high kms
any DA9s been up against EK4s EM1s etc etc B16s. Howd you go?
