[QUOTE=denot;2586479]^^^ That what I thought as well... but tyre stores seems to say its ok... :S
custom tyre placard? I thought the load rate was printed on the tyre's wall?[/QUO
The load rating is (or should be) marked on the tyre sidewall.

yes the load rating is stated on the tyre wall, and it says 95, as oppose to the sticker next to the driver's seat that says 18" with 98W rating, right? so basically what the cops do is they just look at that if they want to know what ur stock load rating is suppose to be, so if you get custom tyre placard or a replacement sticker, that changes the load rating to say... 93 or 95, something same as or below the load rating you have for your aftermarket tyres and the cops will look at it and be like, oh right he's matching the "minimum" load rating, then you're all sweet!
Never thought of that,
The only thing is finding someone who will do a exact replica of a Honda sticker with a modified Load Rating.
yeah well, i'm getting mine this week sometime hopefully, i'll let you guys know how it goes once i've got it :) i've changed the size on it from 18 to 19 as well, so i can escape from the +1 rule if cops decides to be a dick about it
I'm planning to get those rims on my new Volcano Grey CU2, 18x8 with deep dish at the back,
also what tyre should i try to get with it, prob going to Tempe Tyres.
wat you guys think?? thanks
what are you lowered on Soulful? what wheels are they?
The CU2 is a pretty big car, might want to go with a bit more of an aggressive fitment, perhaps 18x9 on the back for a staggered stance?
