Id be so happy if there was a cost effective way to make my front seats leather. Id be 100% satisfied then..
Thats the only feature I wanted of the Lux, the reast is dead weight.

is it legal in NSW to swap side airbag equipped seats - say from a JDM TypeS?
my humble Toyota Corolla of five years back home had an auto shutoff feature for the lights. they went off when you close the door and leave the headlights on. it can be manually overwritten by just opening the door, turning the lights off and turning them back on again *useful if you need to see what's going on infront of the car when stationary*
that being said, it could be a Singapore/Australia model difference, but seeing how the model I had was an import from Japan as well, there shouldn't be much of a significant difference.
it's something I would like to have, but I can live without. like you said, the audible warning is good enough to make you turn off the lights.
I know what you mean with this. on my previous car, the doors automatically unlocked should either the driver or the front passenger opened the door with the latches. however, this may also defeat the purpose of locking the door to begin with.
say for example you have people *children, especially* who love to roam their fingers around. you can child-proof the rear doors and engage the child-safety lock, but what about the front passenger door? that being said, it's not like the kid can't just pull the locking stem out into the unlock position, and then open the door again.... :p
At least its not like one series of Beemers 5 or 7 series which had no latches/buttons at all. Remember see it on the news, some ambassador guy was locked inside his BMW somewhere lol..
Some Euro cars' doors can still be opened from inside without manually unlocking first, but I wonder if they still lock it when the car is moving? Or can u only unlock when its stationary. Pretty sure VWs and Mercedes have this feature.
The door being able to be unlocked using the door opener latch from the inside is a feature of European cars. Don't confuse the Accord Euro for an European car.
Yeah it a bit of an oxymoron. Accord Euro. Civic Type R is another one lol.
Accord Euro has european feel. It has HIDs on lux. It needs TVs. It needs the ability to turn on only one side of the light for night parking in dark areas, etc. Only the true Euros from Europe have that.
But then again one can't complain for the price paid for Accord Euro.
JDM models normally have better equip then the audm ones, i think the JDM euro has electric folding mirrors, auto off etc etc. it wasnt sold in aus like that to keep price competitive.
 i didnt buy it because i wanted a european like car, i bought it because it was the best for the price looks and lifestyle i wanted from a good japanese stable.
