As for the head lights ritee.. u can get it off ebay.. i got mine then at ebay for USD200.. the things is.. u mitee have to do abit of wire snipping.. cos the bulbs they used there are like HB4/5 (can't remember) and our headlights here uses H4H... not a biggie issue.. but troublesome.. cos u might need to source for the bulbs..

hmm... thats weird.. the headlights i've got is from the US thou.. take a look in the da-crew forum.. look under my nick or thread "90DA with B18CR engine swap" take a look at my car photos.. see if those are the headlights u are looking for.. if it is just let me know.. i'll send u the ebay parts seller details.. fyi mine is not angel eyes.. just clear headlights with dark housing..Quote:

hmmm... b20 it self has torque but doesn't come with vtec.. unless u drop a b16 head in it.. else its kinda pointless.. wiring loom and harness would be an ass and mounts as well.. double check on the clusters wiring see if it will fiit.. but to be honest... better off to get a B18C type R like me.. hahaha.. u can be my successor.. LOLOL... 1 an only in perth.. there are a few issue that u'll need to headache which i can help u along the way if u wanna do a swap... not much of a biggie thou.. :) i had a hard tiime during my swap because there were some stupid issues that couldn't be rectiify.. that i had to go to some US DA forums to sort..Quote:

Thanks Exodus,you'll be the first person i speak to when it goes pear shaped.
As for springs,it had a set of king springs on but i just bought megan coilover sleeves/springs and im half way through lowering it (back done) to go a bit lower. I didnt want to spend more than i paid for the car on a set of full coilovers (1000) still need shocks but i'll wait till these crap out.

my Door handles both of them for some reason the paint is peeling :S ? lol i think old owner did a really shti job on it so i decided to dip it in chrome.

painted the dizzy, got billet cam seal, moved the throttle cable off the exhaust manifold, put it all back together run up tmrw.

i need some honest opinions on what i should do with my car. i have already bought a new one.
i have a 92 DA9 in grey that is unregistered. it has been unregistered for a month now.
Problems
- CV joints are ****ed
- rust has been cut out and paint has been sanded and primed but looks like sh*t.
- no real body damage but there is a bit of paint damage from little collisions, weather etc.
- o2 sensor light is permanently on
It has a b16a engine in it. The body has 255***km's while the engine has approx 75000 kms.
I honestly dont think i could sell it to some1 unregistered, and if someone was to come look at it they would be let down big time by the primer, paint damage etc.
What are my best options? Part out or sell the engine? or just try sell it? I seriously can not be bothered with time or money to get the things fixed to register it.

u should post some pics. if its got o2 sensor light its prob a XSI in that case dont part it sell it on because thats a jap import
its an LS. well im pretty sure it is thats what all the rego papers etc say. Im in Sydney.
and im pretty sure its the oxygen sensor light.. could be something else i will check tomorrow
parting out probably sounds better, cuz ppl are always lookin for engines, if that engines has 75000, then someone will want it.

I bot a B18c type R for 5.8grand thou that comes with gear box. i have anothere fren who bot a B16A2 for 2.5grand which i think doesn't come with gearbox. You can work around that price range.Quote:

Correct. The VTEC and non-VTEC covers are in no way interchangeable.
yeh the engine b worth a bit its a obd0 one so more then likely out of a ef8 it might have a lsd to. and its a cable clutch on the box there worth a bit over in WA. i duno bout over there but..
the car dont look like that bad condition i rekon ud still get a little bit of money for it
