Define performance car ! :p i understand what your saying, but compare an EP3 to a ferrari or r35 GTR and its a shopping car :) but im getting 13-15 litres per hundred (boost, what do u expect) so fuel is a major consideration in the buying process and unless your doing "spirited driving" above 5500rpm the fuel consumption is good :) but i guess you could call it a sliding scale more performance more fuel etc on which the EP3 is in the good side of the scale
As for the Golf, most of my past time is working on cars (i grew up in a servo, and past experiences have detered me from the Vw's BMW's and Audi's of the world which is comming from a servicing/fixing part of view cause they go like a bat hot of hell, its just little things that i think about that turn me off that other people dont really think about. That and i will never buy a turbo again....too many things that can go wrong
OOOOO i like that, thanks for the reply, there quote system is down atm so ill ring them up and c what they give me :)
i'd think EP3 and GTI are in the same market. similar size, hatchback, around 40k (3dr) etc etc. so we're comparing apple with apple here.
13-15L/100km?? that's higher than what i get from the GTI (average 11L/100km). but i'm on about 9-10L/100km on the EP3 so i guess you have more fun than me :p
