Damnnn The City looks good now!
Mum wanted the old City before she bought the FD. Thank god cause the old City looks horrible.
I actually like the new one. Good Choice! Get bags! Everyone can watch your mum airout at the supermarket.
It'll be awesome!
Holy bat nuts your cars looks perfect with those rims honda_FD!!!!! Well played.
they are top 3 rims of all time easy.
do you have any rolling video of you car? does anyone??
Nope. Barely go to cruises or meets so not many people take photos or videos my car.
Wouldnt mind a photo shoot with the new wheels.

Do you guys know where I can get aftermarket LCAs and Subframe braces?
Tried looking on Function 7's website but nothing for the 8th gen.
I want some bling bling at the rear!
Also, Does the beaks bar hang low? Scared it might get snagged on something when I drive and rip my rear end apart.

17x8.5 +42 will fit?
Bao, those LCA are fake, they're just go over the top of the originals LOL
BEAKS I'm unsure I'm the same as you. Scared might rip off lol
17x9+45 fits if you remove your plastic liner near the petrol line.
So 8.5+42 should work. Depends how low your car is and if its on coilovers or not.
Lol Really? Damn. Would still look cool though.
Know where I can get it? :)
Thinking about getting my OEM LCA polished
17x9+45 won't fit on the fronts of the FD, will hit the calliper and such, should be able to run 9+45 with a 10mm spacer so maybe 8.5 +42 could fit
My spring sitting weird???
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...2F4ED28071.jpg
My left spring sits weird aswell. Might be a honda thing? Mine sits on a slight angle
That Toe wear though lol Think you need an Alignment
4 new tyres and allignment nek week.

Lol Nice. I did the same while back aswell. Sounds awesome aye? Bit of throttle lag? Is it secured down? Mine used to touch the metal frame above it when I go over bumps. Nothing major, Just ugly rattling noises. But luckily it happened when I did a trial fit so I had the bottom half still so the metal tabs can lock it down like the oem box
Waiting for this to arrive. Paid way too much for it..

I got a 80mm flexible coupling from bunnings from the plumbing section for 7$ and the pod filter from autobarn that fit the diameter.
For the sensor I used a 22mm drill to make a hole in the tube.
http://i.imgur.com/K7OzxqE.jpg
I used a spade bit. I dont think different branded pod filter will have a noticeable difference, I got some generic 30$ one
Installed base and cable bushings today, also readjusted my clutch. Fuk me feels so nice to drive and shift now
Brands shouldnt matter. Its been proven that intakes dont increase power unless you tune your car.
I used to use an A3 pod filter. They won AutoSalon few years ago for best flow beating K&N and other leading brands.
A3 only costs $30 - $40 depending where you go. The Drift brand and AutoBarn pod filters sell for about the same price.
So in that case I went for the A3. Same shit really.. Its all noise
Fcuk bitches get money
There is a air duct right under the filter but nonetheless you would lose power, mcm did a video disproving pod filters. Dat intake noise though. Its easy to put factory one back on when summer comes
Ahhhh I see.
dat noise gets bitches. Then once you have said bitch you can put the cover back on.
Yeah I was worried about engine light but it's all good, its so fun to drive, high rpms intake noise is soo loud

DRLs are in <3
Don't hate the rice!
There is A LOT going on in that picture.
multi tone life
The red badge.. The shitty yellow plate.. The green P plate... The bad fitting lip... Not to mention the different colour parts/bars...
Now the day lights...
This used to be my favourite car here.
Lol </3
Well lip can't be fixed not a OEM part + same with the bar
Red badge was given to me from my mate who had the grille ( changing color later)
Panels are waiting to be painted when my parts from japan land
P plate cause I rather spend 200 on car parts then my license
I've gotten facelift lights
DRLs are cool
<3
You just do you player. My opinion means dick squat(s) anyway.
I loved when you first did different panels but now it's looking all over the shop.
It's all love anyway (^_^)
I am on the evo8 enkei as well..what tyres are you using? Im still on the stock 235/45/17 allround and lowered 15mm allround with mugen suspensions.
Anyone here can advice if i can swap the springs on mugen suspensions..car kinda sitting on stock height as u can imagine 15mm drop + 17s  its a vtil too
I swear sometimes our cars look like RC cars. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...64FFB941CE.jpg
I am on 215/45 but it want to go 205. It doesn't rub only at full lock over a big bump. When I had the stock tires and was only on king springs it would rub a bit. I have my set of king springs you could have for 100$ if you are interested, have a look on my intro thread how the car sat
Thanks for the kind offer. I ll have to confirm if my springs can be swapped on the mugen. I am going to change the tyres very soon as the currents 235/45 are in bad condition. I think I ll go with 215/45 like yr current setup. How much are you lowered atm with those tyres? 205/40 will be sick !!!
So I rang honda and asked about the 12v battery replacement. I said that my engine was cranking over to turn on in the cold mornings (normally when I turn the key it's silent... No engine crank what so ever)
They told me it was gonna be $260 to replace and fit it!!!
Fxck that.
I went and bought a battery from Battery World (same as the last one) for $120. Took 5 minutes to swap as you guys would know.
Anyway, this morning (-3) I turned the key and the engine made the cranking noise.
Does hybrid start off they hybrid battery and not the 12v engine one? Hope me big battery isn't dying. $$$$$$$$$ :(. Yay!!!!!!
Go for 215/40 front and 215/45 rears.
215/40 worked for me and Im sure Chris's height is about the same as mine. Only down side is that going for a 40 profile is that it threw my speedo out a little.
If you're rubbing when you're turning then try putting the dampers up. if its on max then go for 215/40.
I honestly wouldnt go any lower than 215/40 as it is skinny enough. I used to have the same problem and going from
a 45 profile to a 40 profile made a HUGE difference.
Good idea on the front and rear setup.
By swapping to 215/40 on my front wheels, wheel calculator is showing ~-5% reading on the speedo. 215/45 is ~-1.5%. My preference is actually 225/40 but is rare to find em'.
I hope to achieve a setup with lowest possible diameter while maintaining the grip with those 17x8 38+ enkei rims.
Do you know anyone with mugen suspensions on their fd? The springs + struts non-adjustable ( i read damper is 5 click adjustable). Just wanna find out anyone swap them springs with others brands.
Why do you want to get a small diameter? Hitting potholes and bumps with small profile tyres are noisy and can easily damage the rim.
Generally swapping springs can be done on any Suspension system. Even on coilovers so I dont see any problems with changing yours.
Our rear is separate so that shouldnt be a problem. Only 1 bolt and it comes out. Just take it to a Suspension specialist just to confirm.
What state do you live in?
