Sumitomo HTRZ-II- Bit over 200 each (205/45/16). Incredibly good tyres, great in the dry fantastic in the wet and they wear well too. Recommended.
Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3- 225/40/18 (400ish each). Absolutely fantastic tyre! Very hard to fault. Little road noise at all. Incredible gri[ in the dry just gets better in the wet. It is amazing the grip they have in the wet - they will fully screech and not lose traction. Incredible water dispersion. Wear is average hard to know as i had them on a heavier car. Noise and grip amazing though. Im getting them again on the crx i have right now.

Toyo T1R, disappointed with them. Poor grip, sidewall flex. Wouldn't recommend them, though a bit cheaper than some of the other big name brands.
I recently went to purchase the k105 from tempe in 205/40/17 and when I got back home (canberra) found they gave me radial k106. I was like WTF!!??!!Quote:

I had ventus k104 previously and they were great in dry and good in wet. these new ones (radial k106) are near the same, but noticed highway noise was crap. $120/tire 205/40/17
Does the tread pattern look like the K102's?
Also, K105's are not made in 205/40R17 so there is no way you could have asked for them...
The K106 could be the new name for the: Ventus R-S2 Z212's?
Check the website for the tread pattern here: http://www.hankooktyre.com.au/v2/pro...h=uhpt&id=1172
thing is, I called them twice before i bought them and ask for k105 in that size and they said yeah cool. we got in stock. then ended up driving home with the radial 106 (WTF is radial LOL). check the website and no other have same tread pattern. but atleast these are pretty grippy. so wont complain as much. guys you can tell if the tyres are genuine or not ALL Aussie legal tyres WILL HAVE a DOT in-print on the tyre.... it shouldn't look stamped on like re-treads on the sidewall....
^^^ that is another thing insurance can **** you anally for if they discover you didn't have ADR approved tyres....
i beliebe a539 are discounted stock....but last i checked 140ish a pop where as the es100 155 each...these prices are for 205/50/15 thoughQuote:
