it means BOTH WHEELS SPIN when u press the gas at all times.. good for burnouts lol.
where as standard diff .. is the ones that .. well both wheels get power.. but sometimes lets say whilst turning.. only one wheel will spin the other will jst roll lyk the rear wheels.
good for traction i need traction lol,
if you cud check your gearbox it shud be written on it LSD, if it does i may buy it pending the price haha

jst do a burnout lol check if both wheels spin turn the steering wheel left n right
his cv joints are rooted thats not gonna help lol, u can maybe jack it up and have a mate hold the other wheel, if forces it to spin in the same direction u got lsd :D
or leave one wheel on the ground and turn the wheel off the ground if u can turn it its not got lsd if u cant or its really hard to turn u got it.
gave it its yearly clean yesterday after the test drive

really smooth but still needs a tune. i got a stuffed boost gauge and i need to set the timing. but i need to c a dyno before all that id rather run it retarded so its not pinging instead of make a little more power

Hi everyone,
Wondering if anyone has put a hotter set of cams into thier b18a. Feedback? can only find info on the crower cams so far. Any other suggestions? stage one i'm thinking would be enough for what i want from the car but if the difference is only minor then i would consider stage 2.

ill b in syd next sunday guys for a few days
camtech make custom grind for out cams. and there quite cheap and can make it so u dont need diff valve springs etc. or even ecus worth a look man
i havent tried this but a b20b cam should fit and it looks like it would b a worthwhile upgrade.
Hey guys wheres the DOOR SWITCH?
My passenger ones ****ed, my interior light wont turn on when the doors and open, and neither will the open doors light near my guage.
I wana take a look at it, wheres the switch/sensor? or whatever.. it is.

yeh pretty much u shud be able to push it in and stuff, it usually rusts up and stops making contact mine did that, just wd40 wipe it up a bit worked nicely
yeh..mine did that a while ago...took it out..sandpapered the bit of rust out and its fine again
just did it now lol it wasnt rusted or anything the wire behind it is cut.. and i cnat seem to find the wire lol -_-
nah its in there, take the rear interior panels out and u'll find it, its just a little clip that plugs into the switch and its VERY lose, most likely it slipped and fell out.
actually if u get a wire and bend the end...stick it in to fish around..u mite be able to find the wire without tearing out the panels

Hey guys I'm having some electrical problems with my DA and could really use some help. First one is my headlights every now and then while i'm driving will glitch (dim for a second or two and then go back to normal). I've heard that it can be caused by fuse or faulty battery, so I swapped my battery to one out of my other DA, and changed the fuses but it still does it. The next problem is that my fan has stopped working on settings one and two. I replaced the inner switch but still nothing. And my last problem is that sometimes I turn the ignition to start the car and it hesitates for a second before cranking, but only really when the engines cold. The first two problems appeared within the same week, and recently, but the starting lag has been happening for a while but it's not that bad, I should probably mention that when i put in a battery with higher CCA's it started great but after a few months it slowly came back.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
sounds like your alternator is not working properly that could cause the lights to dim out...
at one point i was driving my car non of my lights work and even wipers werent working window won't close...i was driving in the rain to my mechanic to get it fixed...it was dreadful...
but not sure about the fan issue...
What can you do to a stock DA9 that will help it gain a bit more power or torque without turbo or supercharger? :)

but before that intake...exhaust...tbh that does jack...lol

but if you want to keep it stock..don't bother...

ive worked my engine, and id give a vtec run for its money
the fan not working on 1 and 2 means the little resistors in your blower motor have flown away. you can just find the springs and put them back in place, or replace the whole blower resistor, costs $30 from honda.

thanks guys, yeah i was talking to some of the guys at work today about the lights, they reckon the alternator. and cheers ash, i'll replace the blower motor then. luckily i have another da9 as a spare parts car i can rip these bits out of. ;)
Hey guys couple of q's. Done my b20 conversion runs smooth as after i got new cv's still have the comp light on dunno what that is yet. But bigger prob is i have what feels like backlash in my gb in the diff just when i go to take off it doesnt move for like .2 of a second and a bit of a bang. Then drive its got me ****ed im thinking of just geting a new gearbox and a hd clutch while im at it. I have a mate that builds gearbox's so im getin 1-2-3 straight cut. Only other thing it can be is i am using the b20 clutch. Any light u guys could shed would be grate. Oh and has any one pulled a gearbox out with out taking engine out ?
yeh man i had it in and out for a new clutch took me 8 hrs to do it and that includes the 2 hr drive to get the clutch easy job. u could prob jack the car up and feel the backlash my integra does it to but not much. i can only feel it when i have the car in the air.
yeah might give that a go tomoz because its getting worse

Hi guys, I'm looking at doing an LS/VTEC conversion to my B18a, I need a definitive list of all the parts/kits I need to get a hold of and some instructions on how to do it all. I know this has been brought up many a time in this thread, but every time I search ls/vtec (or lsvtec) nothing helpful comes up, it's just everything else BUT what I searched. So I'm not sure what's going on.
Can anyone possibly give me a link or something? Please?
