k-sport stands with D2, racing logic and G4
made in taiwan... enuff said, not comparable with tein, cusco and jic etc. if u want sumthin hard and stiff, go with ksport, but with the same amount of support, it wouldnt offer the comfort like cusco, tein and JIC or other jap brand coilover.
anyone know if u can get 40 profile tyres for 19 inch rims?
Car came with 195/65/15 originally and currently have 215/45/17, and was hoping to maintain sidewall so my ride isn't much bumpier than it is now by getting the 40 profile.
so far i have:
-full mugen replica kit (grill, front lip, side skirt, rear lip, mugen visors, wing)
-aftermarket fog lights
- k-sport coilovers
-18" black rsgt's
- cusco front strut bar
- 2.5" half exhaust
-darkest legal tint
- 8000k HID
future plans: CAI
k-sports are great on the softest settings. On this car, if you get 18" rims (225/40/r18) make sure u don't lower it too much just in case of wheel arch scrape. These coilovers matched with good tyres like my BF-Goodrich g-sports make a great cornering package IMO.
^^ Charlie? It's Khoi :) Talk to you on msn about the cai cos i've been researching and come up with an alright idea haha.. ie - either taking out resonator etc and just having a pipe run down to fog light area as an intake and changing panel filter or trying to keep stock airbox and get a pod inside so it still looks stock =P
ive done that...i took my resonator out and run a piping down to the foggies area with my stock box and mugen drop in filter...
oh awsome, was it hard? (pics?) i saw a diy on the singapore fd forums but i cant remember if it shows exactly how to take the resonator out.. i dont think it could be that hard but yeah.
how much did you pickup the drop in filter if you dont mind me asking? and do you think its possible to have the stock airbox, or use a different stock airbox in order to get a pod inside and make everything look stock?
nah i'm not charlie, i'm his younger brother. he owns the euro, your idea sounds pretty good though. I heard from charlie that u got a new body kit. what sort?
dannybubu, the comfort on a stiffer setting were okay, but got me pretty annoyed sometimes on our crappy aussie roads. It really depends how stiff you want to go, gotta keep adjusting it until you find your ideal settings. I gave up awesome handling for comfort; not as if i'll track with my car for a while. However, these coilovers would be perfect for track use as the surface would be way more smoother.
FDcivic, do you have any pics of your car?
