Iv Got a 91 Honda Civic EF Seden
I'm Pretty Sure i Get Around 500-600km out of a Full Tank.
Got just under half way Full on the needle, and will be Driving 220km tomorrow (Hamilton to Ballarat) pretty Confident i will make it there Fine :D
^ u know. especially for older cars. the fuel pointer goes down pretty fast after it passes the half tank mark.
for example from a full tank, u may be able to get 250+kms until the pointer hits the middle, but another 100kms ur pointer might be pointing at empty already.
tats wat i find in general.
Using Mobil 2000 (91 RON) I get around 640kms from a full tank - 07 VTi L auto.
Using Mobil 8000 (98 RON) I get 660kms.
Driving conditions were practically the same, so the extra cost for premium unleaded wasn't worth it in terms of fuel efficiency. The drive was better though!!
The engine is still being run in so the fuel economy figures can only get better.
Wasn't Happy today at All, Drove from Ballarat back to Hamilton (179km or so)
Filled up on Reg Unleaded at BP. Had around 4/5th's of a Tank when i left by the time i got home and drove around for a bit latter on, im now down to 1/4 of a tank and iv only done around 220km's...
... Think i might need to check some things, Might give it a run on some premium Unleaded, when im nilly out.
I know that, so next I will do a proper comparison using 91/95/98 RON over multiple tanks.
BTW I use exactly the same pump set at the same Mobil every time. My point was more that when I had my previous car using Mobil Synergy 98 RON significantly improved my efficiency and performance over Mobil 91 RON.
I got up to 100 more kms from a full tank at times.
My EJ8 does around 600km to a fuel tank running BP98 Ultimate
used to get ~400-450Km per ~42L
after putting in a skunk2 chip i get ~300Km for ~42L... it's obvious these generic tunes are useless unless you have the mods they were 'tuned' for... common sense really but i thought i'd get it anyway :p at least i can do my own crome stuff later hehe
