My question is why would you increase the operating costs of your vehicle by using 95 RON or 98 RON on an engine designed to run on 91 RON. you will find it will make very little if any difference to fuel consumption.
I have used 91 RON exclusively on my Civic and to my knowledge no one can get close to my average fuel consumption, but i dont drive in the city.
my worst is 33L for 450km that was with a heavy foot, my best is been about 25-28L for 400km ( i refill at that mark )
Before my service i was getting 400km to a full tank with 5 ltrs left in the tank.
now after changing oil to royal purple, oil filter, spark plugs to iridium and cleaning k&n filter. now getting 450km out of a full tank with 5 ltrs left. In an EK4.
i got 318kms after filling up 35$ of petrol. can someone tell me how many litres a eg civic can hold?
35 -42??
EK hatch, 350-400km cruising around, strappin it a bit and most i got was between 500 and 550km goin to the goldie and back
The other day in my '07 VTi-L i got 545k's on 35litres = 6.42l/100k. I thought that was pretty good. About 100k's of that was highway driving. Mostly going around 60k's though, and a few traffic jams. I thought i would test out that 'keep it under 3200revs to keep i-vtec on'.
my box of snot worn out d15b gives me 440km's with a 40l tank, not bad for a powerless portion of shite
320-380 km with 35l.
My record is 520 km with 35l (cruizing on highway - 120km\h)
When i was only getting 300km from 33L i was like eh wtf? I let the car run as close to possible try as i could. When i filled it up, put 39L in... Ever since then i been busting out 400km's per 33L...
