I remember reading a year back on this, it was mentioned that lithium grease can cause more damage. I had the creaking clutch, and I intentionally used the lithium grease at the slightest reappearance of the creak.
Temporarily it made it go away for about 2 weeks max (i dont drive much). But within couple months the creaking got so bad to the point I couldnt properly (or smoothly) press and release the clutch that made shifting a big headache.
(reason I made sure to spray was that after it got bad my stupid aftermarket warranty acknowledged the issue and replaced it).
Last I checked the clutch master cylinder was around 240$ with 220$ labor from Honda .
A link on a previous thread, where to spray also,

The problem is with the clutch master cylinder

Its just a known problem that happens. A couple of dealers have said that they did revise the part and it isnt a problem anymore, but there is no evidence of such I believe.
Can anyone tell me if the 2005 accord i have (pre facelift) has front and rear curtain and side airbags or just curtain? The reason i ask is it says 'side curtain airbag' where the curtain airbag is usually located.
Usually there are 2 separate airbags, one for side, one for curtain.
Thanks.
