I live in Sydney and in my experience spares were cheaper in most cases.BTW i do have a contact that gives me 10-15% off.:D

No wonder! Well suffice to say things are completely different over East to the West here. I think everything car related here is more expensive and we don't really have the choice that you guys have there.

Hell yeah, if I've got a contact that gives me 10-15% off I'll exclude accessories and get them separately.

How does it work in Sydney Tony1234 - does the Spares Parts Dept completely separate from Vehicle Sales?

If you're handy you can do it yourself otherwise a panelbeater would be your best bet.

Usually yes.In some cases spares are at a different address from sales.

Why would you regret getting a CL9 over a Civic, the Euro is twice the car. Personally I can't see how they can justify a Civic being more expensive than a CU2, I know where my money would go every time.

Different cars for different target markets. You can compare the FD2 Civic Sport against the Euro, but when you pit the FN2R against the Euro, the FN2R is always going to be a sporty hatch, while the Euro is a familiy sedan.

But the new civic hatch is not a fn2r, base 1.8 liter - 103 kw

aaronng, I am referring to the new civic SI 5 door hatch, it is a base 1.8 liter, 5 door hatch imported from UK. Sure the interior is miles ahead of the sedan but apart from that all the running gear is the same as FD1, although it has a beam rear axle.

I must be "lucky" then, coz after I sealed the deal and called up the dealership, the person said they can give me a full tank of juice for the "price" of a good feedback form... fair enough I thought, but then again, it could be coz I traded my car with HALF a tank of petrol and got ripped off with the deal... badly! :(
