tamay let me know when you find out what happens man. I hope its not a write off..
isn't the spare where/tyre suppose to be used for the front only?
GUYS =D
just got a call from aami
My car is not a write off
$5,500 worth of damage to be repaired and it will be fixed mostly in a place in cambellfield called aztec smash repairs...and the best thing is..it turns out my grandpz knows the guy =D
the car needs 2 visit a suspension shop, a panel beater and also a interior shop..i dont understand why it would go to the interior shop but im guessing because of the boot.
its gona take them 12 business days to repair the car and they start tomorrow =D
cant wait for my baby to come back home. only been a month since i got her aswell =[
Good to hear.
Many factors in assesing a car. For the S, I really think it depends on how bad the exotic suspension is damaged. Soooo the front lip, Side skirts and Eibach suspension will need to be replaced......and the rear diffuser, the OEM rims are dear as so best to get some Enkei's thrown in too for good measure! LOL!!! HEY , didn't you have a Mooncraft Hardtop before the accident too????........
he had street legal F1 tyres on as well. $3000 each. and gold plated wheel arches
did they have to import shocks from japan? they had to do that for my front right... delayed my car for 2 weeks...
lmao at James and chiken8.
ive got no idea really wats going on yet. aami has not yet sent the invoice displaying wat repairs need 2 be done with the car.
i went down 2day and apparently its at the suspension shop getting new suspension installed n everything. wen i get the damage report ill post it up
Just be weary mate
Insurance companies love to cut corners and do 'bodge jobs'.. picking a repairer who they know is cheapest and will save the insurance company money
There was a story on here with a guy and his white new model civic.. you should read about the corner cutting and the further damages he got to his car as a result of his insurance company taking care of the repairs
Just make sure everything is ok once you get your car back.. because think about it will the insurance co. give a crap if your car isnt repaired back to how it was before? they couldn't care less.. go over every speck of your car mate
good luck
thanks for the advice mate
yea hope it all is fixed properly
all the places aami has sent me 2 has a actual recommened aami choice of repairs sign on there shops so they are used on a regular bases for aami customers. also my grandpz knows the panel beaters who r doin my car so hopefully they will do a good job
pray 2 god that its all fixed 100%
couldnt it weaken the diff considering your control arm was ment?
