See Shogun? This has all been caused by YOU!!! I should make you come and wire this up blindfolded while I jab you with a sharp bit of wood...
BUT you wanted to do this, I'm just your sub-conscious.
Shogun, I hope you are not my sub-concious...
I have a WTB thread as I am going to need bits to finish this off.

Will go to PnP tomorrow to get a loom and fuel filter, but still need an external pump for now until my EF9 tank with pump arrives from Japan.
Will be doing some wiring tomorrow and hope I can at least get the car to crank, the wiring could get a bit messy to start with..
Cheers

Hi All,
Well, I now have a fueltank with an EK injection fuel pump installed, I followed Peter's great build thread, and very carefully drilled my tank.
I will post pics later tonight and more info on what I have been doing, but have had major wiring issues.
Wiring help thread is here, I hope someone can help!

Go Chris!!!!!!!!
Hey All,
Well, here is what I have been up to lately...

Seeing as I was having a bugger of a time finding a tank with fuel injection pump (like a CRX) I decided to do what Peter did and drill mine..
I went to Pick-n-Payless and found an EG pump that Peter was good enough to pull out and leave on the back seat (thanks Peter) and on a return trip found a newer EK so took the pump out of it.
Grabbed the wiring loom from the ECU to the engine bay and injector loom, a genuine Honda jack (with bag) and a throttle cable, also found a good condition set of mudflaps (F + R) for my DA Teg too!
My little haul of bits

I needed a jack for the car, found this shiny one, just need to spot a handle now
http://gallery.2dingos.com.au/albums...jack.sized.jpg
The EK pump, really good condition

The mudflaps, should be on by this weekend

So, then I got started and pulled the tank out, then washed with soapy water (car wash soap) dried, and then washed again
http://gallery.2dingos.com.au/albums..._out.sized.jpg
Marked the hole using the gasket as a guide
http://gallery.2dingos.com.au/albums...rked.sized.jpg
Drilled the first hole

The EK pump and the foamy stuff used to fill my tank with soapy water
http://gallery.2dingos.com.au/albums...tuff.sized.jpg
Then used a jigsaw to cut the hole, was more worried about the water/electricity thing than the fuel vapour, kept the tank full of soapy water to lessen the chances of fuel vapour problems

Theres always time for VITA
http://gallery.2dingos.com.au/albums...vita.sized.jpg
Dried out the tank again

Put the bolts in, using copper washers on the inside of the tank to seal the bolts, and threadlock on the outside to help make sure they dont come loose..

The pump in and looking factory lol

The mess of piping from the fuel tank,

Connected 2 of the lines together as they wouldnt be needed now I have the other pump in place

Good stuff :)
I had a lip on my 91 DA Teg front bar, which I found matches perfectly to the ED front, only problem is that the sides are longer, something that a hacksaw should be able to fix easily enough.. some of the bolt holes across the front fit too, this is an easy upgrade

This is the difference with the sides, the small gap you can see is just me holding the side up, it does actually pull into place and the profile matches perfectly, the width and radius are the same as the Teg, no cut in the middle either :)
