yea have to agree the back of the new liberty looks like an bloody aurion.
but i saw the gt liberty in the flesh, and the front looks evil. maybe its one of those things it grows on you.
initially when the cu2 came out i was like wtf its so fat, wide etc.... then it grew on me. I remember the days when everyone bagged out the cu2 majorly saying CL9 better looking. The same happened with the wrx that i just got. when that first came out im like wtf its a hatch, again slowly grew on me.
think over time, we'll get used to the looks
yeah man
the old model liberty > new model..
plus that guy with no shirt makes the liberty more appealing
waitwut
If they bring the b4 to australia, you will all change your mind. saw one here in japan, its hawttttt... and to rub it in, it cost only 50kish
b4 = sexytime
sti tuned 08 = epik sexy time.
I have never owned one, but drive a few liberties in the past and they handle like nothing else in that segment - at least in terms of feel because I remember Wheels did some handling tests and the previous Euro out handled the previous Liberty in the dry (it wouldnt in the wet of course) but a fair bit in g's and speed through corners.
The fit and finish on the Honda is better overall and so is the reliability, but there isnt much in that last one.
I think that on small 4 cyl naturally aspirated engines weight is a massive factor - the Honda is very significantly heavier than the new liberty and that is why is times to 100 are slower - having said that rolling acceleration would be more in favour of the Honda I would have thought.
Try sticking a 120kg fellas in the Liberty passenger seat and redo the test.
I dont mind that the Honda is 'lardy' in comparrison. Because of the line of work I am in I like safety. They are both a very high 5 star crash rating...so then weight counts (big time) and having that extra steel is welcome.
Cheers

You should use a black interior Euro to compare, not the ugly one... lol lol
