My mate did 40k over on his pulsar and he still neglects it...I think that was from about 200-240k and I did a service for him, he still only changes it at 20k+ lol. Girl at work hadnt had a service in 2 years on her yaris and I checked her oil and it didn't even read, she still said was broke and didn't fill it even after my warnings. Another story my neighbour did 80k on a brand new engine and it finally gave way :P.
As for that guy with the H22A change that shit! I feel bad if I go 1k over 5k services with mine, anything with any performance In mind deserves 5k changes, Id feel bad even not changing my mums getz after 10-15k lol.
yes this can be fixed still, but very labour intense.
they have to remove as much grease as possible with tools, then they use some chemical to clean and pull the sump out and clean everything.
search on youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KC-SxrsgEwo
this guy show how to clean this.
Holy 7 year old bump batman.
That poor cb7 :(
caused from topping up oil instead of changing and mixing brands
heres a VE commonwhore i did today NOTE!! the more u disturb the sludge the higher your chance of blocking the pick up if this happens fill the engine up with injector cleaner via the dipstick tube and let it sit over night to make the sludge disolve http://sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...69770961_n.jpg
