trust me dude, i did it iwth no problems.
With those clips they look like 2 concentric circles - place a screw driver between the outer and inner circle and pull the middle one 'up' that unlocks those things underneath and makes it easy. Take a look in the manual, good starting point with digrams and all too

similar all-in-one products are available on 9005, 9006 and something else i promise
they're not specially made for FDs and they hv potential overheat issues
and...i can tell u guys even paying $100 u're still being ripped, A LOT... lol
-
haven't had any overheat issues at the moment
it's certainly better than paying $200 - $300 for other options on the market being that this one works well enough and is much easier to install.
-
No heating issues at all they are great but if you can show where can get similar for under $100 that would be good.

managed to put in the drivers side bulb in tonight, damn that shroud is fkn hard to take off. i ended up taking the wheel off otherwise it would've been a real tight squeeze. tested it with just one hid and it's such a huge difference! i stood directly in front of it and it didn't really hurt my eyes, so do you think i still need to re-aim the lights?
btw, it looks real shit with the stock parkers, have to replace them too i guess.

What are side lights? YOu mean indicators?
-
The English term for sidelights are the small lights that come on first before the dipped headlight the American term are parkers dont know any other term for them certinaly not indicators mine are orange.
-
Right. that's weird. 'side lights' i imagine would aim to the side.
I've also seen them being called 'pole lights'
Mine are white LED's - haven't died yet luckily :)
