No worry. I think around 3K. You will get more and more power than now.
Don't turn left and turn right. Go ahead!!
Within 6K, you can't get B18CR and gear box swap.

20kg is a lot at the front ! so y did people put carbon fiber bonnet? coz of the look? carbon fiber bonnet is only 5kg lighter , it already can improve the handling of the car. but i can't really feel it tho.. : ) . but 20kg is a lot.Quote:

I always thought that a carbon fiber bonnet was there to help with heat flow

20-30kg is F... all!!! Every think how much a large turbo, thick as steam pipe manifold to support it, wastegate, intercooler, pipework weighs. Ever hear people (or read on the net) say "wow my car understeers now with all the weight I've added".....Quote:

3k? 3k for the H22A conversion?Quote:

you're better doing a B18C7, get the 1/2 cut for 6k. you get the gearbox, LSD, front brakes etc. plus it's pretty much a straight bolt on compared to the H22A.
H22A = relocating A/C, pwr steering.. big big hassles..
much better to go B series and work the crap out of it. think B16A with around 6k of mods, or B18C7 with around 3k of mods.. or stock H22A..
You can easily overcome the weight difference with suspension mods plus I recon u can do this conversion for around 4.5k to 6.5 k max
heres some great DIY for swapping a H22A into an EG/EK civic..thanks to hondatech
