I installed it myself. It's fairly straightforward but maybe not something you want to do if you are a novice.Quote:

You are right - it is pretty easy if you are mechanically minded.
Main thing was I wound up buying one of those frames you mount over the engine bay so you can chain the block to it while undoing the gearbox. What that cost me basically covered the labour I saved but I justified it by saying I could use it again in the future or on my sisters car, etc.
What you were quoted for the parts sounds pretty good to me...
ok clutch is installed...feels great, much lighter than before, and the car seems a ton more responsive...double de-clutch down changes are so much smoother too...good stuff, and damn cheap too!
So did you get the PBR or exedy sports organic?
Pbr....
how much it cost u to install + machine the flywheel?
hey, mine is just getting replaced now.... i'm changing the brass button to the exedy organic clutch! the exedy is supposed to be a great upgrade.
not as cheap as some people on this site have managed to get it done for....I paid $300, which covered labour & flywheel machining

I am referring to labour & flywheel machining in respect to the $300....I paid $185 for the clutch kit....
equating to a total outlay of $485 fitted....it works, and is less than half of what Honda would charge...if I turbo my D, then I'll think about an upgrade if this one shat itself....until you need one, why bother getting a HD clutch
