ok, it should say this then
for a given power output, 4300k will produce the greatest lumen output
thanks for clearing it up guys... looks like my next set of bulbs will be something along the 4300K mark. based on my "research" it seems to be the safe point without going into the extremes.
the CL9 facelifted version does not have issues with water going into the headlamps. so if you want to fix it for good, change em.
