My FD2 was giving me bad mileage up until the 60K major service (done last week). A tank full used to last for around 300 Km before the low fuel indicator lights up. But now I've driven about 170km since the service and still there's about 60% of fuel left in tank. Didn't know a service could impact that much on mileage. And yeah I drive with a light foot hardly hitting the ivtec
You light foot drivers you need to give ya motor some curry !!! I''ve knocked 65,000km in just over 15 mths and I flog the crap out of my car daily. When I cruise down the hume hwy I can still get 700+ out the 45 L tank. I change my oil monthly some times more as I track the car and it still purrs like new.
I do a range of driving, unfortunately a lot of stop-start, but I get around 600 ~ for 45L. Yeah lets drive like a granny lewl, not.
Your meant to enjoy driving! My passengers say I thrash it, but no one else owns a Honda yo!
Its not that I don't know how to thrash it. The car I had before honda (about three odd months ago) took a lot of abuse from me. Now that we've got our baby on its way next month, I'm trying to behave myself :p
I like this!
Last month I did a cbr melb trip and our model loves the highway. The other night I partook in some spirited driving at the start of a freeway, again the car shone. I'm a newer driver, but a little older than most, so I always have safety in my mind as priority. I think it's rad people go to the tracks to really get the most enjoyment out of their cars. There's a lot of different levels we can enjoy them on, cruising for relaxation, racing for rushes...
