There is a latin expression. Caveat Emptor. It means let the buyer beware.
You sold a second hand vehicle in "as is" condition. You have no obligation to fix anything.
That is the new owners responsibility.

the guys issue isnt the fact that it passed RWC, but that the car was unrwc when he took it. i know for a fact the wipers were working as i drove them in rainy day just before he paid up full and took the car. have a feeling hes not gonna let it go until i fork out to fix the wipers or some shit

I hate it when poeple buy a 2nd hand car and act like it should be brand new. oh theres a little dent here. And a little scratch. Blah Blah Blah i want to pay less money because of these reasons. You want a perfect condition car. buy one brand new.
I tell him to F himself. When ever you buy a car you look over it yourself and see if you happy with it. As soon as 1 person submits the rego papers the car is transferd. As soon as you have the money its not your problem.
If you buy a dud its your own fault. if you not confident looking over a car, Take a mate in the no or take it to a mechanic. Or buy from a dealer and spend twice as much for peace of mind!
